Great tutorial/review of the new N 914. I’ve been very curious myself. thank you for testing this product. I look forward to your future review with this product on a very dirty car. Keep up the great work.
Thank you. N914 V2 definitely moved up to the top. Currently this would be my top 3 in this exact order for a surfactant based rinseless. #1 Owners Pride Ecowash #2 McKee’s N914 V2 #3 DIY Detail Rinseless
@@MikeGDetailing High praise indeed. I am very curious to test myself and see if Idrosave can release dirt from wash media like DIY and N914. To me, that is the killer feature of the surfactant rinseless products.
@@chrisbradley3224 I love the release, its the most important to me to not have a dirty wash medium touching my paint, also cleaning is a LOT better than from polymer ones, ive used a gallon of Absolute and needed to soak my sponge for several hours for it to release dirt and clean properly... I like the DIY Rinsless the most, as we dont have the Mckeys V2 here and wont for a long time...
Great video Mike I never really had issues with version 1. Definitely will buy the new version when my gallon of the old one is gone. Thanks for all the great content and reviews.
Ive been changing up my rinseless process lately too and using microfiber miits/pads... i change between sponges and microfiber media from time to time
Thanks for your testing. I have never used a McKee's product, because of their high pricing. I can usually find a product at a better value. I like they make their products in house and in the US. Is there a product from McKee's I should try?
I don't use them at all for foaming, i personally dont like it foamy, i prespray them altough and for that i have the IK and Marolex and Marolex is wayyy better in that department :) only my 2 cents :)
Just used this today after some California rain, it removed some fresh tree sap that sat in the sun for hours pretty dang good for first impressions 💪🏼💪🏼
I like the first version, it worked fine. Nice review Mike. I'm waiting on Gyeon's Ecowash, i think it will be very similar to ech20, which i also enjoy.
Hey Mike always a pleasure watching your videos and gaining insight. You already answered what your top 3 surfactant based rinse-less washes are so now im curios what your top 3 polymer based rinse-less washes are?
Thanks. Happy to read this. Top 3 polymer to rinsless at the moment would be the following. #1 Labocosmetica Idrosave #2 Adams Hoseless even if it has a horrible name #3 P&S Absolute
Hey Mike, I see you like OP Eco Wash. Are you using it at the recommended 1:512 in the bucket and for a pre-soak? I’ve had a few people recommend me to use it at a standard 1:256. Thank you!
I use it at the recommended dilution. I just take my pump sprayer into the bucket and use the same dilution for the pre-soak. Do you have a lot of dirt where a heavier pre-soak is needed? If not the standard dilution would be all you need.
I am waiting to order another legacy sponge when they are back in stock. I want to test it in comparison to the prototype I was sent as I heard it was a bit different.
@@Carlos.Rivera most of the time I am using the ultra black sponge. I am testing the ultra safe sponge to see how it is with durability. If you are looking for a soft sponge that would be a good option. I know some like a colored sponge to see dirt on it and the softest to me is the McKee's gold sponge.
Way to go Mike G. Even used the gold sponge!
Best way to show dirt with a lighter color sponge. And it’s pretty soft.
Was wondering what they changed about it. Thanks for reviewing it!
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Thanks for doing this video, Mike! Appreciate the consistent content.
Thanks. Appreciate the comment.
Great video! Excited to hear your thoughts on Idrosave.
Thanks. Idrosave video will be released this Friday.
Man, I used to have that original 16oz bottle of n914. I kinda miss it for nostalgia purposes haha. Thanks for doing the review
Haha I know the feeling. Appreciate you watching and commenting.

Thanks Tim. I was surprised at how much more lubricity there is with V2.
@@MikeGDetailing as slick as Idrosave?
@@ThisOldDetailingDude yes it is.
Excellent demo of performing a rinseless wash , where would you rank this product amongst the rinseless brands you have used ?

@chrisbradley3224 in my experience, while Idrosave is a tremendous product and works very well, it does not.

Good looking product as the original version was a good product. McKees 37 does a good improving their products.
I agree with you on McKee’s always doing their homework to revise their products.
Excellent video!!!
Thank you.

Thanks. Definitely consider N914 V2 if you do rinseless washing. Works excellent on interior wipe downs and as a clay lubricant.
Very nice review, thank you.
Thank you. V2 is a step up.
Good review!!!
Thank you.
Great video as always, Mike! I always see you using the marolex sprayer, I need to give them a try. I’m still using the Ik
Thanks. I will be getting an IK. One thing about the marolex former is it doesn’t foam McKee’s N914 but an IK former does.
