It actually did better than a lot of cars. You'll often see the gauge drop by 30% in a lap.
I didn't catch that but I did notice that that is a very healthy sounding engine in that car!
That M2 used up more IMO, surprising.

I've had multiple M cars and now own a F90 M5. I can now see why they went 4WD on the newer models, grip everywhere. I mostly drive it in 2WD sportplus tho with daily drifting etc but when you need it the 4WD system is just epic to put the power down.
As an M6 comp owner, this video is a dream come true. Thanks boss. Stay safe out there.

@@danielmck22 depends who took care of it. I havent had issues other than wastegates since I've owned it. But I'm also stage 2 on stock turbos so I expected it eventually.
@@danielmck22If you plan to own a performance car, you need to change your mentality. Don’t expect Toyota reliability. Car will need maintenance and also care. They’ll drink fluids (fuel and oil) more compared to normal cars depending on your driving style. Parts wear out as you use it and need replacing which can be expensive. These are cars with a new price of above $150.000. If you can’t justify the costs and/or can’t afford it, then don’t buy it.

Met sunny last year at castle combe i had my white r34, he was a safe down to earth petrol head wasn't allowed on track with his beast because of noise but car was sick and looks even better now bless up sunny and misha stay safe and have fun

Coupe doesn't necessarily mean "2 doors" it means anything typically with framless windows.
With that sort of content, on a 'very regular' base, you'll be hitting the 1million sub mark by the end of the year! Great car set up, brakes where, and will be allways my first mod with good maintenance. Great drive!
this 3 camera setup for a video is best i've seen so far. you can see the speed in which u r gettin away from some of these fast cars crazy stuff

Notice the temp gauge barely moved despite a tune, never went above 120 C (the angle makes it look like it did, but it never touched 120), while in the CTS-V it was almost overheating stock on a colder day too, it was touching 155C by 1/3 of the way through the lap. So the Cadillac definitely can't take any abuse on track, the engine would be toast in a couple of consecutive laps, the M6 doesn't break a sweat.
My stage 2 F90 M5 does 2-3 ring laps and stays at 110-120 the whole laps... BMW have really upped their game in recent models...
Benefits of proper oil cooling, if you can control the oil temp. You won't have high coolant temps. Modern BMW's and Porsche's are good at that
Thats the reason the S63 engine is a "mess" with one hundred coolant lines and pipes in the engine bay, its like a Frankenstein stuff, BMW designed it to handle track use.
I’ve owned this car for a year, 2013 M6 Grand Coupe. Sold it due to being extreme to maintain. Beautiful car!

7:08 This BMW has some long gearing. Its in the 5th of 7 gears at 230kmh
It’s pretty long , the 6th gear is good enough to hit its natural top speed which is around 335kmh …

For as heavy as this car is, (I have a F12, the heaviest of all trims) it moves and holds the road so well at speed

i had couple M5 with stage 2, car is a beast, and why he did not set shift setting higher ? that car can do little better, hard to see if his suspension is set to max, by the way this cars are heavy, i hope we see 2nd run soon on Cup 2 tires , definitely he knows how to drive. what a car _ amazing, Congrants to the owner too for keeping that beauty in spec.

Very beautiful car, sober and efficient for its large weight simply great bmw car,!! before the Sabine corner(T13) An engine spat out its oil and I think one car ended up in the barrier because there are traces on the ground. 😬
