The HistoryMakers salutes African Americans entertainment professionals, as well as the mentors and role models who encouraged and inspired them. The program features founding director of The Sidney Poitier New America Film School, Cheryl Boone Isaacs; Hollywood’s first black casting director, founder of Reuben Cannon & Associates, and film / television producer, Reuben Cannon; CEO and publisher of Ebert Digital and executive film producer, Chaz Ebert; and former writer for The Redd Foxx Show, stand-up comedian and actor, George Wallace.
