    I can't believe how original it is! That's a survivor there! No need to restore that it tells its story in its rustic look. They sure made things better back then! I'm sure people will enjoy seeing that at the shows just as much as some of your fully restored units! Great job guys!

    Don’t know if they’ve changed the formula at all, but I can remember Berryman chem dip smelling like creosote, and if you dove into it with bare hands, they’d stink like railroad ties for days.
    The point to point wiring, with the wire bus bar for the outlets reminds me of the underside of a 20’s TRF radio.
    Nice to hear it run!

    The valve your referred to, are called back seated valves. They are common on LP gas tanks that most people don't realize, and they leak while opened unless you open the valve all the way back seating it. I'm curious why you guys don't use a ultrasonic cleaner when working on carbs.

    • @805ROADKING
      @805ROADKING  4 роки тому

      Most of the stuff we work on don't have carbs, they have mixers!! And they usually just have one big needle jet!! And the stuff we do work on with carbs have problems like this one and an US cleaner wouldn't do anything to the tar and varnish in there!! It's just alot easier to disassemble it and clean it right!! We do have a US cleaner, most of the time it's more trouble than it's worth!! They're good for the lawnmower guys, you tell a customer you put their carb in the US Cleaner it impresses them and you can hit them up for another $50!!☺

    Great job by the both of you. What RPM is it spinning at? Since it's not AC, I'd guess it's not the standard 1,800 or 3,600?

    Wow what's that in the background at time index 7:07? Looks like some kind of home made up tractor contraption! Mikey should do a video on that, or maybe as a new sub to his channel I missed it.
    The Onan construction is amazing with all those cast aluminum parts! The simplicity of that carb is amazing too!
    Ok I have to ask, is that 115vDC or did I miss something in the video? Thanks for sharing guys. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

      I don't know what that thing is and he's probably told me a couple dozen times!! He did build it, I think it might be a Bolens Tractor with a huge Wisconson Engine!! And yes the generator is 115v DC!!☺

      @@805ROADKING Hey bud, I've never heard of a 115 vdc engine/generator or even know a reason to have one. Could you talk about why there is such a machine? Oh and I forgot to mention I thought that crank case was amazing, like a big block of steel board and honed to fit the cast head on it. That is probably the most unusual small engine/generator i've ever seen. Had I not seen it on your channel anyone who had mentioned it I definitely would have given a strange look. Thanks again for sharing and the nice reply. Best Wishes & Blessings Road. Keith Noneya
