Hii sir. Im looking forward to do my masters in Medical and pharmaceutical Biotechnology in Fresenius university of applied science. Is it worth studying this course in germany or can i migrate to other Eu countries with this masters for example in Ireland. Is masters from Germany recognised in other European countries.
Masters from Germany is recognized in whole or europe yes. Its a good programm with good prospects for the future. But Thing to remember is that In Germany your would be well off financially, but you would NOT be amongst the best earners. As far as i know, on average, denmark, norway, etc have a better financial/livelihood (Lifestyle/ living standards) for people in this field.
@@BT.ed9 Ok sir. My plan is to get my masters in germany and to move to ireland afterwards. I heard ireland gives more competitive salary for Biotechs than in Germany. The main reason is that masters in Ireland is much expensive than in germany. Is it a good plan for a long run. Thanks
Hello, i am interested in genetic engineering and i am halfway through my bachelor degree in biomedical sciences. If i want to specifically pursue genetic engineering is it possible through biotechnology and if it is , what about genetic therapies? I am just conflicted between switching to biotechnology (an integrated master degree in my country) or finishing my bachelor degree in biomsc and doing a masters in cell and gene therapies
I would like to think so. But genetic therapies should also possible. Different programs focus on similar but different topics in bio med sciences (as far as i know). But if its like medical research> genetic mod/treatment through gen. Mod/ or similar ones, then it should be possible. Gen therapies is abit more specific, thats why it can be abit more challenging to get into from other areas of the field. But a master in that direction from BS biotech and then further would be more helpful then trying to get into the industry after your bs in biotech. Hope that helped👍
Hi Sir. I wanted to ask that if I was to write a personal statement for biotechnology but applied for a biological science course, would it be fine or would the personal statement need to change? I'm a bit confused because I did some reasearch and found that you can go into Biotechnology with a Biological science degree, but I wanted to be sure if applying was similar.
Yes you can, but if its very specific then maybe change a thing or two. In general, your skillset adn experiances would remain the same, just your show of interest would change a little bit, if any in the first place. but you are right it has alot of overlapping
I have one more question So you have done biotechnology and you are doing job as a biotechnologist and have experience. Can you tell me which field of biology has more scope and a person can earn more higher than any other field including biotechnology especially in Europe
In my experience, the more you have achieved (Academic qualifications, internships, published papers approved by "the panel", etc.) the better you can negotiate on your salary. Micro bio, gen tech/mol. Biology, bio med sci, biotech, med technologists etc, earn similar most of the times (if you are looking at only the degree course, in some cases ofc it can be different. But bioinformatics can get you better deals. Also it highly depends on your industry, pharma pays more for example. You can simply be a biologist and earn more at a pharma company then a biotech at another one. It depends less on the type of your degree, and more on other factors..... Biotech, biochem, microbio do have a better scope if thats what u want to know. Hope that helped
Is that the same as highschool? And what do u mean what subjects? Arent the subjects in highschool obligatory? Like u cant select some? I dont understand the premise..... Would need more info to answer
Hi,Mumeeb here,Can you please make a video on salaries of Biotechnologist in Denmark by doing research it will be appreciated alit plz because I'm at the point to decide my career so plzz
Will do.... But if it helps here are some things that i know abt denmark. salary:livelihood of denmark is similar to germany that means, that you would not become rich or you wouldnt be amongst the best earners in the country but you would be able to live comfortably. Keep in mind that biotech salaries in denmark are similar to germany. You can watch the 2 videos about salaries on this channel, that will give u a pretty good idea. Hope that helps abit abd best of luck👍
I have done my bachelor in biological sciences. can i do my master's in biotechnology from Germany. i studied various courses during my bachelor like genetics Biochemistry molecular biology cell biology microbiology biotechnology bioinformatics. biostatistics.
These subjects would help you get your bachelors recognized, hence getting you into a masters programm in biotech. But nor every uni will approve of that. I suggest you apply to programs that are sort of continuation of these subjects. You can always ask the unis via email. Hope that helped

I have a question, doing 4yr bachelor's in biotechnology is better or bachelors in microbiology
I would say biotech, since it has a wider job spectrum, but microbio not bad either....
