The Swan 500CX (Super Selective) SS-16 Transciever

Another Swan but this time its a more rare version that I will have to admit I am pretty impressed with after using it for awhile. I will say that its my favorite swan to use. I have even seen 620 watts pep out of it a time or two which I fully expect it to light on fire at that point. :-) A 4 inch fan is on order to save the sweep tubes and its a keeper.

Agreed. When I got into Amateur Radio I had an RCA AR88 receiver, salvaged from a WWII Sherman tank. Anything with a SWAN badge was outside my budget.
