I really love your videos. The format used is much more helpful than watching a video of a lecturer. I can follow your steps without distraction, and your edits and notes are clear. I am so grateful for these videos helping me to pass the CPA exams. Thank you!!
@@Edspira Hello Professor, I have 2 questions 1. Why HTM and AFS security impaired differently, What is the need for different models 2. If there is a Expected credit Loss for AFS, how can be Fair value at market be more than the what lender is able to pay. Won't market get the information about lender's inability to pay full amount and rectify market price accordingly
These videos are so so so helpful! I have been taking the CPA prep courses as prep courses to enter a MACC program. (It is a kinda messed up as I am lacking the solid foundation of Accounting.) Those Wiley Prep courses are so high level and sometimes I cannot wrap my head around the topic. Nevertheless, I am so relieved that I can use these vidoes to understand the subject matter. THANK YOU Edspira!!!!!
Hi Ed, great explanation here, but when you do the journal entry for the initial non-permanent decrease in value of $20k, shouldn't that have a negative sign? Thanks!
So great you go to the point truly putting yourself in your audience’s shoes
Impairments are interesting line items. Some of my favorite.
