      Your question is pretty non-descript. What is the difference between the two? One is an agar and one is a broth. One is used for identifying gram-positive cocci and one is for isolating and determining the lactose-fermenting capabilities gram-negative rods.

    please can u tell me how to make bile tolerant bacteria results on paper.....?? means how to generate results actually... which type of format we should use...?????

      Abdul Azeez, I have never tested B. coagulans for bile salt tolerance, so I can't help you. Sorry

      Good question. Just as I would tell my students when I don't know the answer to a question that can be easily investigated: Look it up.

      MacConkey agar is a solid medium that is selective for Gram negative bacteria and differential for Lactose fermenting vs non-lactose fermenting, there is no salt. The 6.5% is NaCl and the goal is to see which organism can grow in the presence of salt and which one cannot, so you only look for turbidity. I am sure you have already found the answer but in case anyone else was wondering...
