I think you may like, Wheel in the Sky and When You Love a Women. Steve hit's a note in wheel in the sky that I originally thought the guitar but if you watch the video you can see him singing that high note just incredible
There's a performance of Just The Same Way (Live in Osaka 1980) HQ where Steve is also singing with the guitar - it's around the 3 minute mark. I think he's hitting a b5 but would love someone to confirm that. It's a gorgeous, sustained note and he does it twice. It's really impressive!

I do feel rather fortunate to have grown up when I did. I saw them in concert twice - Departure and Escape. Both were Day on the Green in the SF Bay area (Oakland Coliseum). Amazing performances seeing them and other bands at their peak.
I was there in Oakland for Day on the Green! If you get the Box set of Journey the center page of the booklet has the newspaper article about the concert. It mentions my favorite moment of the show, when Neal struck a note on his guitar then held it up and blew across the strings. So cool!

You should check out the band Triumph...anything live from the US Festival from 1983. Rik Emmett has the best male voice in rock.
Triumph was great. Fight the Good Fight is one of my favorites.
Good singer, but nothinhg to do against Steve perry
This isn't his highest note; the live version of "Lay It Down" probably is. There's a channel called Crazy Singing that breaks down Steve's range. Oh, and there's a song called "Mother, Father" performed live at this same concert that's amazing, too.
