It's good to listen to Whitewoods again
Listened to this for the first time when I went to the airport at 4 am to catch my flight, awesome experience. It reminds me so much of the quiet airport and how there was hardly anyone there and the peace and good vibes I felt at the time. I don’t know why but I would give quite a bit to just be able to travel back in time at 4am in that airport with my AirPods in with this at about half volume and just walk around. This gives me good vibes and memories of that early morning and watching the sun rise while way up in the air in the plane. Gives me memories of the beach and awesome restaurants and overall awesome times had in Florida last year✌️🏝

Living the dream
“So you might live like you will die some other day and be home” is weirdly sad but very comforting in this COVID-19 situation. I listened to this song all the time back before my life went to shit, and this reminded me of how bad it is now. But it will get better, and revisiting this helped me get through today. Thank you, Whitewoods :)

i was born early 2000's but my family was poor as so we had a shit ton of 90/80's tech and media around the house because we couldn't afford like a dvd player but we had a vcr player so im kinda getting nostalgic for a time i never was at.

Remember this song from when it was released which is strange to think about now that it’s seven years old. I went through several jobs, made it through highschool, and made it through college finding my career since then. Lots of changes as I was in a formative age. I always find myself coming back to it at least twice a year. Hope you guys are doing well, this was always a good one to keep around and one of my favorites.

I totally agree, but I also know that you kind of need a label to do that kind of thing and it's EXPENSIVE. Even the small venues, you have to pay people for lights, sound, security, tickets sales... Even just setting up an amp on a street corner requires a permit. The labels help a lot with that since they already know how to do all of it.
I don't know what Whitewoods' particular situation is regarding that, though.
My 54 year old father loves Whitewoods ever since I indotruced him to Vaporwave, and this is his favourite song.
This song makes me feel sad about the life I will never have, but happy because that means others can have it... it's a weird feeling.
It's a long story, I just used to play this song while looking at the sea and think about that...

This song is quite personal to me. For me, it's about longing to escape my abusive parent and their home. And the complications of growing up with that trauma, and even now still longing to run away somewhere. Some where I can leave my memories behind and forget my name for just one night.
