I almost lost the half-Gashat at work when I was packing him up to go home. @n@ I was very quick to put a bit of white sticky tac on the white side of the Gashat to keep it in place. And the white paint on his left armpit got a bit scratched. It might have been my fault. A

For Kamen Rider standards, this fig is perfect for halloween.
Just got mine last week... My gashacon sparrow doesn’t split in half too easily for some reason. I also don’t have the problem of any other small parts coming off easily. Seems to be one of those figure-to-figure things.
Best suit design in exaid. He's a must have for me. I'll pass on every other ex aid figuart but I'll buy this guy.

I recently opened mine jusy to find out mine doesn't have the damn white and black gashat that goes on the belt. Smh. I should have opened him when i originally got him.
It was this and Maximum Mighty X (maybe Perfect Knockout) that were the ones to get on my radar; naturally, they're all exclusives, placing me firmly shit outta luck. At least I got $30 USD DKHZ Lazer to look forward to!...
BTW, does he have a way to hold the Bugvisor? Does it even come off, for that matter? Seems like no on both, which is a bit of a shame.
as far as I can tell (and checking the instruction sheet) it doesn't have a detach gimmick. the dangerous zombie stuff is painted on the display so I think it's only meant to be a belt buckle
but the next SHF Genm is Level 2, so I expect that'll come with a weaponized bugvisor

Best character in Ex-Aid. Single-handedly saved the later half of the show for me.
Ok, maybe that praise is a little strong, but I did love every scene he was in.
I feel it was more of a father & son effort. While Kuroto coming back with his brand of insanity gave the show some MUCH! And I am gonna state this again MUCH!!! Needed levity and humor, and in the process, firmly removing Ex-Aid's head from Gaim's ass, thus letting Ex-Aid feel like it had an identity again.
Masamune gave Ex-Aid what it really needed, a proper and true boss character. The Bugsters were good but never felt like true 'Boss Characters' and I don't think any of them could honestly fulfill the final boss role. But Chronos was a boss...from his very very first henshin all the way to the end.
I actually really disliked Masamune, and the few people I've talked to, including myself, attribute him to one of the biggest failing points of the show. Don't get me wrong, he's actually a great villain from a purely villainous perspective due to his tenacity and ruthlessness, but he is extremely repetitive and boring to watch, not helped by the fact that his motivation was purely for monetary and financial success. All those lost lives, all the people he endangered, all the blackmail and twisted dealings...for money. He'd be more effective if he was either in a different show or didn't fight/lose as much.
I can understand how Masamune can feel repetitive, I felt his shtick was getting a little long in the tooth near the end. But his motivations to me worked only because of the...how do I put it, personal viewpoint he had. He only thought of money and that caused him to see everyone as a product. Masamune was a pretty good villain, because he was truly despicable. Like you say, he doesn't care about all the endangered lives or lost life that his pursuit of more money has caused and I think that is what makes him, at least to me and my group of friends, feel like a different kind of rider villain.
Everyone and everything was a product to be sold in his eyes, whether it was their talent to create a better product or their talent itself was a product he could sell to make money. His obsession gave him such a warped view of the world that when he says "I'm the CEO." I don't think he is speaking of just the GENM corp but the whole world. He was from the get go equating himself to god in a more indirect manner, which in a way explains Kuroto's own mentality and god complex. Masamune certainly has issues, I will not argue that and his powers really jank up the fights in the show a bit but the fact he is causing all this chaos and mayhem for the sake of money, to me makes him a truly villainous person.
But again, I can wholly understand how some wouldn't dig him and fully respect that opinion. He does have a certain repetitive nature and you can clearly tell when in a fight Chronos is just gonna stroll on in and roflstomp everyone with PAUSE! But I think his warped world view combined with the utter silliness of doing all this chaos and mayhem just for money, made him kind of a great villain for this show and an interesting meta commentary when you put him up as a foil for his son. Masamune wanted Chronicle for money but Kuroto wanted it because of his passion for creating video games. It's...an interesting commentary on the games industry to me.
I'm really happy to get the perspective of someone who likes him as a character, especially in such detail, as it helps me figure out how our interpretations of him differ so much. When I talk to people about this show I don't normally refer to Masamune as "Dan Masamune," I refer to him as "Chronos." I'm looking at him as the wall for the characters in the show to physically overcome, Kamen Rider Chronos. I think of him in costume, of him using Pause and Reset, and how he constantly loses to the other Riders in combat. You on the other hand seem to be coming at him from the perspective of "Dan Masamune the CEO," a facet of the character that I see as usually drowned out by his poor use as a foil for the main cast.
Like you said, he's a good villain, just not the typical villain Riders face off against, and while you enjoyed how different he was from the norm I found it so different it was actually off-putting. I mentioned before that I thought he'd be better in a different show, and I stand by that if only because one of the main focuses of Kamen Rider as a show is combat and he was not good at it. He literally whined about losing so bad he rewound time.
He's not my only problem with the show; another being an overall drop in its writing. I feel like if the writing had maintained the level of quality it had in the first half of the show it would have been able to tackle those aspects you mentioned about him better, and I probably would have ended up liking him more than I did.
I can kind of agree, the difference from other rider villains really can be off putting. As Chronos I think he was an excellent wall for the main cast (Even if pause is a little OP.) until Muteki became a thing. Part of his whining was admitting that if Muteki didn't exist, he would have won. It's essentially the equivalent of him screaming "YOU CHEATED! YOU CHEATED!! YOU CHEATED!!!" Then hitting the reset button on the console to challenge you to a rematch. Which...isn't wrong? Kuroto did make Hyper Muteki to bypass Chronos' pause ability, which was a natural part of Chronicle while Hyper Muteki wasn't, so in a way...they did kind of cheat.
I do agree that Ex-Aid had a quality dip, both after Kiriya died and after Kuroto died. The bugsters make good characters and henchmen but do not have the power to carrying the show as full villains. And they were kinda forced to for a bit...Hence why I think Masamune in a way had to wear a lot of hats and be so over the top to the point of hurting himself as a character in order to pull the show out of the minor tail spin it was in.
All I wanted was a Standard release Zombie Pharmacist, but instead Bandai gave me Dragon Knight Hunter Z. All I wanted was a Standard release Thor with a Chris Hemsworthy face but instead Bandai gave me Donald Damnit Duck.

Connor Tessier To ne fair if he had a GD it wouldn't be show accurate since Genm X0 has a slightly different design from DZ(Mostly in the lower legs) and the Mario Tube was also a gimmick of Genm Level X0 not Level X
I thought it was gemns chest plate that was different also show me where you see the differences I cant also add the gashicon sword magnum and breaker if they went all out

this is the time when all the exclusive has got nothing for the accesories accept the fall off weapon and a few hand. Thats it. Bandai knows how to make money easily. Double the price. Put it EXCLUSIVE. man... actually this zombie is the only one my favourite rider from the whole series. Im suprised and sad that it came out exclusive. Out of my wishlist you go....

I know it's everyone's personal preference on the pronunciation, But it bugs me so much on how, even the show Creators had said this, Someone can pronounce it GENMU, when, again, the show Creators even said this, It's pronounced GENM

@Vangelus I think you do a great job, by the way...
But this is a horrible design. I don't know what PLEX was thinking... how Toei allowed it to happen... and why Bandai Tamashii Nations allowed this to happen. I know that taste is subjective... but I don't think that Ex-Aid is just a terrible Rider Series, but it's just terrible series.
It's honestly so bad that I want them to just put an end to the Rider Series. Just stop. Take a break. Come back in 8 years or so. Just don't let it come to this.

Ryan Bartido if that is your opinion a lot of my friends and some couple and people love ex aid it's a great series but i could understand that you don't like the series.
I never said I didn't like the series. I was only replying to the user above who was complaining that this show was a mistake that never shoud've been made. But like he said, taste is subjective, and your comment shows that others like this show, proving it wasn't. I'll admit, tokusatsu series like Kamen Rider aren't things I'm into. But I won't go around saying that things i don't like are a mistake and should never have existed.
I know that there are people that like this show- oddly it's only people in America that I've come to find like this show. This show is performing very poorly in Japan and sales on it's merchandise have hit an all time low.
But some people like Ex-Aid. Some people also think that The Phantom Menace and Rogue One are the greatest additions to the Star Wars franchise.... I also have a sinking feeling that those people are one in the same.
