  • Today's video I'm going to explain what pressure washer nozzle degree patterns are and how to choose the right pressure washer nozzle to clean your desired surface. In the video, we're demonstrating five types of pressure washer nozzles that come with your machine, which are a 0°, 15°, 25°,40 °, and a soap tip.
    Get your nozzles at www.powerwash....
Various spray patterns are used for different jobs. Zero-Degree Nozzles deliver a concentrated stream that can gouge or cut stubborn stains from concrete and other hard surfaces. 15-Degree Nozzles work like a scraper, stripping paint, grease, and grime from hard surfaces.
25-Degree Nozzles are the most commonly used nozzles for cleaning dirt from siding, sidewalks, and metal furniture as well as for wet sweeping leaves. 40-Degree Nozzles help you wash and rinse a large area fast. It is usually safe with most surfaces, including aluminum siding, windows, and vehicles.
Choosing the correct tip or pressure washer nozzle degree determines your pressure and cleaning efficiency. The smaller the spray pattern/degree the higher the impact.
There are several nozzle degrees to choose from that give you a choice of different nozzle spray patterns and pressures. Below are the different pressure washer nozzle degrees and are color-coded which represent the degree or angle in which they will spray. The higher the degree of tip, the more of a fan pattern you'll have.
0-degree (red tip) nozzle. The 0-degree nozzle delivers the highest impact as it is a very concentrated stream of water. There's no fanning in the pattern. You would want to avoid using this nozzle on fragile surfaces such as wood.
15-degree (yellow tip) nozzle. The 15-degree nozzle gives you more of a fan than a red tip. It can be an excellent choice for stripping paint, grease, and other various stubborn stains. It can still cause damage and should be used with caution.
25-degree (green tip) nozzle. The 25-degree nozzle is typically used for sweeping away dirt and mud. This nozzles larger 25-degree pattern can clean the widest variety of surfaces and also allows for good impact pressure and cleaning coverage.
40-degree (white tip) nozzle. This nozzle has a wider dispersion of impact pressure which makes this ideal for washing more delicate surface. This is our personal favorite.
Your soap tip is black. This is a referred to as a soap nozzle or low pressure nozzle and is often used with a downstream injector.
To ensure you choose the proper nozzle size for your application, please click this Nozzle Sizing Chart link (www.powerwash....) and follow these steps:
Find Your Nozzle Pressure (PSI) in the yellow shaded area
Find your Gallons Per Minute (GPM) in the blue shaded area
In the blue square that your PSI and GPM intersect, follow it to the far left Nozzle Size green-shaded area
This will be the Nozzle Side you need
For example: If your Nozzle PSI is 2,000 and your GPM Is 3.2, your Nozzle Size would be 4.5

Thank you for this. I was struggling to wash one of the windows on my house and realized I was using the 15 degree nozzle and that I don't have a 0 degree one! I didn't even know about the existence of one! Gonna acquire one and see if it has better reach. Thanks again!

This is neat. Nice to know I can get a 4000 psi washer and if I needed to do projects that require less pressure that I can just get a tip for it. Thanks. Better then buying two different washers for different pressures.

I’m a visual learner and explaining things mostly goes in one ear and out the other.
Wish you SHOWED examples of what each power washer nozzle does! That’s why people
    love Before’s and After’s lol!
You'll get more well deserved subscribers and likes if you made sure that your videos have the following:
People learn and understand in several ways:
AURALLY: What a person HEARS. They like and are attracted to words and sounds such as, speech,
laughter, clapping, singing, noise in general catch there attention and hold it.
Eg. You could quietly ask a person to do something (like you husband lol) and you could tell
him quietly 'til the cows come home! But if you say in a loud voice while clapping your hands
“HEY, SWEETIE, could you use your strong muscles to take the heavy bags of garbage out!"
VISUALLY: What a person SEES.A picture, drawing, photograph etc.
Write down a list and show the person the list.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ORALLY: What a person SAYS. To themselves, out loud, to say a speech out loud to remember.
HANDS ON/PHYSICALLY: They DO, TOUCH, FEEL, MOVE it physically, such as, mow the lawn, paint a room,
build a fort or modelling clay country with hills, homes, rivers, mountains
...we did that in school to learn and remember history or do science projects.
Well, you can’t make a viewer SAY it out loud or DO it lol.

    Hi
U seem to me a knowledgeable person on nozzle tips.
I bought starq w6 model, the main purpose was to clean bathroom tiles, wash basin .
But with regular nozzle, it's not effective in removing stains from the tiles.
So i was looking for turbo nozzle or zero degree nozzle tip, to get the effective result.
Do you think it will work.

I have e karcher 620 m, 140 bar and it stops with 40° nozzle after 1 minute. i switch it off and let it stay for a while and then turn it on, it starts working and then it stops again. It happens also with 25° but it works longer.

The degree of the nozzle should not have any effect on the performance of the unit. Nozzle size can. Just make sure you are using the right size. I am assuming you are using the size the came with the machine. I recommend you go to the dealer and have them look at it.

@@Powerwash I had a Bosch aqt110 and i tried all nozzle colors, no problem. With Karcher when i put the white one, the pressure washer stops after 1 minute, when i put the green one it works longer but it stops also after a while (10 minutes).

@@Drilon812 Sounds like you may have the wrong nozzle size. Size and degree pattern are not the same thing. So make sure you have the right size
