Ditto, by the time this fellow Derek explained why he kept the shield on the gunnels, he had me under the spell. It reminded me of the lines of a good old Cary 28 if those had been open deck. The attention to build detail and his obvious passion for all things boating are obvious. Hope You guys Down Under keep this nice boater busy. He deserves to make a great living in the marine industry. Captain hat's off!
when I first saw you cutting up the seafarer I thought why but that came out fantastic. you're right about rebuilding and doing a center console make sure you got funds. she's a beautiful boat.
Wonderful job recycling dated boat to a perfect centre console sportfisher. The stereo WTF, any comp just arrive to your chosen spot crank the tunes and the fish will float to the surface around you.
A nice bow rail with spray dodgers would finish it nicely 😊😊😊😊nice work as a boat builder and fisho i like your theme on this vessel and your right about structure if its not sound to start .....dont .very good look forward to your next and please the all up cost include purchase price of original some specs in type at the end of your video regards in boating lee😊😊😊
Great workmanship. Too many electronics for my taste. Keeping all that powered on a long day is going to be a pain long term. Definitely more of a showpiece than a serious fishing boat.
Subscribe to our UA-cam channel, Good Times Marine, we have a bunch of videos on the build coming over the next few weeks covering all aspects from structure to fitout.
Yes good motor youll need deep pockets had a friend who used his every week mad fisho that motor was carbys and when he bought a new one it had over 900 hourson it and never let him down once highly reccomended and the injected new ones are bulletproof regards 😊
It would have been nice to see the T top in full fold down mode. Bolsters on the seats for both standing and sitting would be nice, otherwise if you are thrown sideways you could take a spreader mount in the ribs or straight in the genitals. Having been struck with force in the genitals by several objects many times, I can assure you Derek, I can spot a L.G.S (Likely Genital Strike) when I see one. Other than that, AMAZING vision and hard work.
GOT ME BY THE HEART. says everything. Loved it

That sheer line makes it look like a knife blade. Very sporty and lots of character. Great choice! Looks like it goes like a cut cat too.

Throw the catalogue at it! What a sick build 👌🏽
Fantastic build. Built for function and fun. Great work.

Awesome build. Surprised it doesn’t have trim tabs or zipwakes. Can’t imagine my vagabond without either.

i think i would have gone for a 150-200hp motor instead

Wicked build guys, any more on the build process following on from the first ‘part one’ video??
Great workmanship. Too many electronics for my taste. Keeping all that powered on a long day is going to be a pain long term. Definitely more of a showpiece than a serious fishing boat.

Looks a little rest heavy porposes a little my need powertrim comparing original vid of the original design
give you 30k for it
30k might get one built if you brought a decent base, but no fit out.
