Voiceplay gets better and better. Cesar's rich, velvety voice lends so much and I'm glad he's part of the group now. Eli killed it and to me this was his song. Layne is dope every song. Geoff is Geoff...can't say enough. Most of all, I love how they use a "guest voice" to strengthen whatever arrangement they are doing.

Whoever does the arrangements for this group is an absolute genius. And I love it when Eli gets his pirate/Viking on. I don’t know how the heck Layne manages to beatbox and still look so threatening and pirate-y.

The first time I heard this piece, Geoff held that final basement note for so long that I had to roll it back and re-play it just so I could count the seconds he held that note for! Seven seconds, in a note that far under the basement, still resonating and strong the entire way... WOW.
I love that this one allowed those higher voices to really shine, too. The entire thing is just amazingly well done by ALL of them.
If Pentatonix can get a Grammy for Daft Punk Medley, Voice Play should get a Grammy for this Masterpiece!

It is actually Geoff doing a whole ton of sub-Bass during parts of the song. It's bone-shaking brilliant!! And bone-shaking percussion is the best! Love your reaction Qofy; My reaction felt very similar to yours because I could feel the percussion blasting this right through my bones! The production is so phenomenal having the lighting FX mixed with perfectly arranged vocals, this is more than worthy of a Grammy.

Eli and Geoff could easily play villains. They're both insane. Eli can rock scream and then Geoff decides he wants to burrow into the mantle of the Earth with his notes. Layne also killed it in this song as usual and the other two don't get enough credit I think for how amazing they did. They all look the part of threatening/terrifying pirates you don't want to mess with.

That bass sound you're talking about is because they've layered Geoff's voice in twice in some parts. I could hear it leading up to that big drop and that was back to just a single voice.
