Callers Rob Harper and Susan Davis (just off camera) teach basic moves for new Contra dancers while experienced dancers demonstrate the movements on screen.

This video is for the newest of contra dancers. A little more confidence is a good thing.
I have two possible dates, one is with a somewhat experienced Contra dancer, the other is with a woman who is into industrial techno dance. I am totally unfamiliar with either dance form. Which one will make me the least foolish looking?
Do both and then continue to dance the one that is the most foolish. Not being too prudent when dancing will open up a world of being. The inner self wants unabashed freedom and dance can get a being there. Go for it!
