Wonderful!! Yahoo for contra dancing! My mom and grandparents and then me danced at Greenfield Village at Lovett Hall, a dance floor on springs, built by Henry Ford. I've contra - danced my way through my life and continue on - always the most fun with the best music, friendliest people, great exercise, and the most joy for the least amount of money!
Like my folks, and grandparents, at Chip Hendrickson's Hickory Hill, Startford, CT,... I meet my wife at the Greenwich dance, while Wild Asparagus played!! Al Brozak called Dip-n-Dive / Red Wing, at our wedding reception! Went to Nashville, TN, Contra Dance on honeymoon! (No dance emoji 🖖🤠)
Glad it's back! I learned this at PInewoods Music and Dance Camp on Cape Cod, Mass when I was only 17 in 1970. Love the live music. Hope to play with them again.
