    This honestly was the one of the best travel videos I've seen...beautiful photography/drone work, but I think the thing I loved even more was how you shared your experience- it felt human, accessible, respectful and clear. So often I feel like travel videos often consume a place, rather than honor it. Thank you for all you shared and how you did it. Can't wait to go in 2 weeks!

      Wow. What a sweet comment. Thank you very much. I'm very happy you enjoyed the video. I love the way you put it, 'honoring a place'. You will totally love it when you go. Safe travels. Have a great time!

    Amazing video. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. May i know the cost of renting a car and lodging expenses in faroe island?

    • @wordslikefire662
      @wordslikefire662  2 роки тому

      Rental car prices were really high when I did my trip. I think my total was around $400, and worth every penny. Hotels van vary a great deal. I stayed in a newer, traditional western style hotel that was probably more pricey than other spots.

    How many days did you spend there???
    I just bought a ticket to spend 3 days in there in the end of April...
    I might have planned too little time, but I'm also visiting Copenhagen and Stockholm this time...
    Where would you recommend I stay??

      3 Days is about what I had. If you are renting a car I think you should be fine in terms of time.You'll have your options of places to stay at. It is probably easiest to stay in the capital to Torshavn, there are a number of good places there.

      @@sunnuvagulklett709 I'm not sure I understand your question. My flights were from SLC to Chicago, then to Copenhagen, then to Faroe Islands. I heard that flying to Iceland and then Faroe Islands may be he best way to get there.

    Hey, do you think visiting Faroe islands is possible without renting a car, just by using public transportation?

    • @wordslikefire662
      @wordslikefire662  3 роки тому +1

      Hi. I think it's possible. However renting a car will make it a thousand times easier. There may be buses that can take you to some areas, however you are probably missing a lot of different areas that buses can't reach.

      @@trishnikasrija11 They follow the same rules as Denmark, since they are in their community so far as I understand it. Basically, if you are able to visit Denmark, then you can go to the Faroe Islands.
