@@petras711I take it you are vegan and don’t consume any animal products. People are quick to criticize such practices because they eat ready-packaged meat from the supermarket and have no relationship with where their food actually comes from and how animals suffer in factory farms. Those cruise tourists who were so shocked by this tradition most likely went back to their ship to eat a steak or chicken meal. It’s incredibly hypocritical.

I can hardly imagine two places less similar than Tahiti and the Faeroe Islands. You also posted Brazil and Tanzania this year, so you are truly seeing the world. I've never been to the Faeroe Islands or Jan Mayen, but pictures have always made them look like places out of myth and legend. I was tempted once by an Atlantic Ridge cruise offered a few years ago by an adventure travel company - it started in the Faeroe Islands and ended at Tristan da Cunha (the most remote inhabited place in the world), stopping at all the island groups in between, but didn't do it. It's always great to see the places you upload.
I guess the only similarities is they are both islands 😅 wow that Atlantic ridge cruise sounds very intriguing. I’ve wanted to go to Tristan Da Cunha but the 12 day round trip didn’t sound to fun but might be better on a cruise like that. I need to do some research on it

Extraordinary adventure! My little local NY airport is now offering direct flights to the Faroe Islands. But it looks like you have to be young and fit to really explore and appreciate it. I can’t imagine there are too many seniors, like me, on this tour.
Wow that’s so cool they offer direct flights! Honestly most places were extremely easy to access with little to no hiking, and my favorite part was just driving around the islands so I think it’s definitely worth a visit

I've been there twice 15 years ago via Norrona car ferry, tourism has developed a lot since then, not as many travellers back then and not so much info.
I have lots of maps of the islands, but your video showed me places in the Faroes i didn't know existed. Big thanks 😊😊

@@RyanShirley I grew up In sørvágur which is the town right outside the airport . The island is beautiful especially when it snows. Though quite hard to get around.

Yo dude! Hope you are doing very well man! I dont know if you would remember me but we met in Germany at the Schloss Neuschwanstein about 2 years ago. We walked into each other at the woods, we were all searching for a better view of the castle. You were there with a buddy and told me you make youtube videos. At first I thought cool, never randomly met a guy who does that as a lifestyle/job. At the time I didn't really know what to expect. You told me you make travel videos and like "top places to visit" content. Not too long after our meeting I searched for your channel and wow ....
I was extremely impressed by your work and the travel vids you make! Its so cool man. It's not often you meet a stranger, that has been blessed by such an unbelievable lifestyle, like you have. You take the term "work and travel" to the next level. 🤣
Why I am writing this is because today I spontaneously realised that you also do the Scenic Relaxation channel, a channel that I have been follow for a long time now! I kept seeing the guy with a red jacket running around, which I knew you got this jacket always on on your own channel (you had it on when se met to! 🤣). Than I checked a descrpiction of the video I was watching at the time, and would you know... I see your name there. This blew my mind at first because I didn't expect you to have 2 channels - with such next level content! Your Scenic Relaxation channel has been one of me and my wife's favourites for a while, because the quality of your work is truely phenomenal! The videos you've put out in the last 2 years or so are just Heavenly to watch! (Those FPV films - Wow!) Me and my wife often just put it on Scenic Relaxtation and let it run in the background for the day. We even play it when we got friends over - they're all usually entranced by it. It sparks an adventure spirit in everyone, as well as gratitude. It makes everyone stop for a moment and just gaze at this incredible and breathtaking Earth we have.
Your videos are epic! The music you play perfectly ads to the experience you are intending to create for us. You deserve an award man! Everyone loves your work.

Thanks Mark! I’m not the best to ask for food tips 😅 I ate mostly gas station bacon wrapped hot dogs during the day (which were delicious) and I would get fish and chips at night (some of the best I’ve ever had). My favorite place was called Fish & Chips Klaksvik

Gosh I miss being able to hike so much. I have MS and can't use my left leg very well, so hiking is impossible over the past 8 yrs.

Thanks Timor! Some of the hikes/beaches are on private land so some owners decide to charge. I guess I rather pay than not be able to do the hike at all.
