Dot is great to register as private motor carrier . If you still have state id and license that’s the problem .. you need dot number surety bond and private plates and passport card . Non commercial

I just put on the form the reason was because I was moving out the country. They say expired will automatically be cancelled but I don’t beleive so I beleive actually reporting it lost and requesting to cancel it or even surrendering it and requesting to cancel it is best ! I also voluntarily cancelled my registration and surrendered the tags and got the receipt for that as well if not they keep those accounts open !

Been traveling with private plates for many years, was pulled over once but was let go with no issues. Nice plates Joe, what I did with my plates was use my recording number and then I have my DOT number on my bumper..

Ask DMV for a Certified Complete title history, it will include the MCO from original seller. Also you can request a duplicate MCO from the manufacturer. I've done both.

I use "Jesus is Lord" for my "Liscen" Plate on the front and back of my truck. Put them on in December of 2023, it's now almost July 2024. I've had "Police" and sheriffs follow me on multiple occasions never once have they pulled me over.

Ask DMV for a Certified Complete title history, it will include the MCO from original seller.
Also you can request a duplicate MCO from the manufacturer.
