Here's the best tip for P3P, fuse Odin the first chance you get, then get the Elec Boost skill card along with Mind Charge. This basically makes every bossfight in the game afterwards a cakewalk, Nyx included. You can also make yourself even stronger by finding some way to Nullify Wind since I'm pretty sure that's his weakness.
Something important about the Moon and Fortune Arcana: they are only automatic if you are playing with Female Mc. That doesn't apply to the Male, which there are just normal S-Links. Aside from the Tired and Sick status, we also have the GREAT status, which will make you character miss less and will greatly increase Crit Chance for a whole day. Tip: You can use the bathroom either at school or the dorm. The first time that you use, there is a 100% chance of getting the GREAT status, after that will only be a small chance, but that can work to improve any status for 1. Ex: If you are SICK, going to the bathroom can make you TIRED, if you are TIRED, you can become GOOD. And why you want to pay particular attention to that? Even if you are not interested in MAX all S-Links you should at least get the EMPEROR Arcana and STRENGTH Arcana. Emperor Ultimate Persona: Odin with Thunder Reign, the best zio skill, probably the best magic skill IN THE GAME. Strength Ultimate Persona: Siegfried with Vorpal Blade, the most broken physical skill in the game if you are in the GREAT status, that's why you want to pay attention to the bathroom tip.
@@16fm74Thunder Reign still better cuz besides the monstrous damage with Elec Amp and Mind Charge it has a high percentage to put the enemy in Shocked status, which will cause the all-out-Atack. It's the best magic Skill.
One note to add about the social stats: when playing as the male protagonist, you want to prioritise the stats in the following order: courage - charm - academics. This is because the female party members all require you to have maxed out those stats before you can ever start their S Links, and the stats you prioritise correspond to which ones become available first For FeMC I'm not sure which ones you want to prioritise first
Also make sure you do the velvet room attendants quests. Pretty useful stuff also for that cat quest, you have to go to one of the shops and buy cat food(don’t remember the name) 🙌

I just started playing p3p as my first persona game last week but seeing all the s.links and other things I had to keep an eye on was a bit overwhelming as I really want to max out everything in my first run, but your video makes me hopeful! Thank you for your easy guide
My top tip would be watch out for the Sun arcana again. Like in 5R he's only available on Sundays which limits your possible hangout days and my first play through he was the only one I didn't max because I learned this fact much to late to have enough Sundays left to get him to max
Great video, i would like to see an video comparing fem mc and male mc campaing's, with battle theme comparison and other things. I played FES and i think i will go with fem mc now, but would be pretty nice to see this comparison on portable version.
So far I am liking it it’s my first time playing it I already played P4G on PC and Persona 5 on ps the only thing I don’t like how you have to move as a dot instead as a character 😢
It is because they gave us the portable version of the game, in the original you move around like normal. I think it is because of the hardware limitations at the time. I am more upset about the lack of anime scenes and cutscenes.
Once upon a time, I asked a question over Capcom's USA forums regarding RE0 coming to PC (something that eventually did happen in 2016) and one of the mods there, someone who actually worked in the company, replied that even though it may not look like it, a remaster or a port can often take the same financial investment as a brand new title. It's natural that a business (which game companies are at the end of the day) would try to minimize costs and optimize ROI (hence the P4G bundle). I can totally see how P3P coming to all major consoles now, after the lush and rather lustrious art and combat style of P5 has set the standard for all future (re)-releases from Atlus, will seem all too wooden and clunky in comparison, but that was only to be expected (so most disappointments come from misplaced expectations about the final product) of a PSP port, and besides, none of this is anything new to those who've beaten the game on PPSSPP.
If I do it won't be anytime soon since I would need to buy the re-release and play through it again in both JP and EN, something I don't currently have time for with Fire Emblem and Octopath 2 coming out.
I’m really hooked on persona three. My favorite of them all would be Tartarus. I’m already on the floor level 140. Even though it’s such a grind. It’s actually fun and kind of a piece of cake. Kind of. I’m glad it’s on Xbox GP now. I would say I am a little over 30 hours but under 40 right now. Such a fun game. I hope if there is a persona one and two it comes to game pass to. Edit: by the way, I got my protagonist to level 41 and the rest of my crew two I think late 30s ish maybe some 20s. Same with my personas and theirs
No plans for fusion guides. With the way I structure my fusion guides -- that being with a showcase, explanation, and then a guided walkthrough of the fusion process -- semi-random skill inheritance is something I don't want to put up with when making builds. In my own personal playthroughs of P3P, I've had fusions take literal hours of rerolling skill inheritance just to get the skills I want.
Would you say the experience would be better if you play FES before Portable? Or do you not miss out on much from the FES content and presentation of that game?
I personally would play FES first because it has anime cutscenes, you can walk around normally like most persona games (not the visual novel type walking), and it has The Answers which is a post game story. If you can beat FES/Vanilla Persona 3, every other Persona game is a cake walk.
I think P3P is the best version of P3. The lack of controllable AI in P3 and P3 FES basically makes those games unplayable in my eyes, and that combined with all of the other quality of life improvements is worth losing animated cutscenes and The Answer. The biggest things I still wish you could do in P3P is dictate which skills your party member's learned upon level up so I don't see them giving up a boost for an amp when they could have both (always sad to see happen), and to get rid of random skill inheritance when fusing Persona.
I played Persona 3 FES and it was definitely the hardest persona game I’ve played and requires the most grinding Do you think controllable party members makes the game significantly easier?
It definitely makes the game easier. Since P3 was originally balanced around AI controlled companions, giving that control to the player who can make the optimal play in every situation drastically reduces the game's combat difficulty.

For one, adding that functionality to a game isn't as simple as you think, especially when looking to port a PS2 title to modern consoles; also, that isn't the only difference between the two. With P3P you give up animated cutscenes and the answer, but gain party control, skill cards, FeMC + her new social links, extra challenges, and an extra boss fight, among other things. The lack of free movement outside of Tartarus is also lost, but that is honestly small since most players end up just using fast-travel. Atlus is also quite lazy with their ports and remasters, often doing the bare minimum. P3P is the more up-to-date of the 3 P3 releases and thus needed the least amount of work.
And honestly, no matter what version of P3 they released, unless it was a full blown remake, people were going to be upset.
@@RozalinGamingnow there’s a full blown remake and people are upset because they aren’t including the female main character or the answer… damnit Atlus….
Saori is so damn pretty
the negative reviews on steam turned me off from buyin it
Tbh it seems most players on steam expected a remake when it's just the port of the psp version and atlus didn't promise anything more. Game isn't broken, it's just a port without special changes for the new platforms.
If u haven’t played a persona game, u should start with 4 or 5
Most negative reviews you will see, especially early on, are either going to be from fans of the FES version or who, as pointed out, wanted a remake and not a port.
My guy the game hasnt even been out for 150 hours
My guy the game has been out for 13 years.
@@RozalinGaming lmao
What about money
You get it the old fashioned way; farm Tartarus. No real tips to give on it since there isn't a really any way to make it faster.
