Everything about this video is perfection! Clear information and lots of it. Absolutely stunning video work. I had to check one more time. I still can hardly believe you got all that into just over 5 min. Definitely subscribed! Thanks for the effort you put into this!
Omg that tank was stunning, the colour of all those shrimp and dish blew me away. Super informative, going to see if I can find this fish is AU. Good job.
I've always wondered what these really looked like. Thanks for the awesome video. I think I'll give them a try. Nice skittles collection by the way😀 Cheers, Chris
Great footage. I hope you will upload more videos. I've already watched most of your vids multiple times. My gf got me your West Papua Crayfish poster for my birthday :) Thanks for your work!
Thats how a species profile should be done: good quality image, short yet comprehensive! This is an endagered species as lake Inle with its 35 endemic fish is slowly disappearing while being poisoned by pesticides. This beautiful fish will end up surviving only in aquariums in the near future (and probably CPDs also!) so if you're reading this and thinking about breeding them thank you and good luck! :)
@@chrislukhaup I understand that making quality videos takes time. You already know me on Facebook ;) you connected me with Joe Theisen. Honestly, I like the better quality videos
I have a heavily planted tank with shrimp and 5 chili rasboras, and a variety of snails. I have a lot of ostracods that the chili rasboras won't eat (they try, and then spit them out). Can I add 5 of these dwarf emeralds to the tank? I heard they will eat the ostracods.
Beautiful video footage and incredibly complete information on a beautiful little fish. I’d love to see profiles like this on other nano fish and invertebrates too! I’ll be waiting patiently for more 😊
@@chrislukhaup Looking forward to it! I’ve especially loved your pictures on Instagram of the neon green kubotai rasboras, so I’m hoping those will make an appearance someday too 😊
Wow I knew they were small but seeing them next to those shrimp made me realize how small they were!! Definitely adding them to my bucket list next to white cloud minnows, electric blue acaras, Amano shrimp, and African cichlids. Excellent video!!
@@chrislukhaup de nada amigo, you’re going to get me in trouble now that you’ve piqued my interest haha. It doesn’t help that I’ve got some supplies from Aquarium Coop coming in that can help I’m setting up another tank😂.
I bought them today, and they really do stay near the substrate. But then comes the problem of competing for food with other fishes that swim to the surface... What do I do now? Help pls
Great content!! I have a small group of them too. And they look fantastic. Bit shy.i have read they can interbreed with cpd which should not be done. Also they are danios and not rasboras?I was worried about the red spot on gills and thought initially that they went through ammonia burns. But as I studied more it looks like the breed has red or pink gills and they are not ammonia burns thankfully.
Love the videos! Learning a lot! I recently got celestial pearl danios! Didn’t know about these! There beautiful! A mix would be cool! Stripes and spots! Wonder if interbreeding would happen? 🤔
Beautiful! Another great nano tank for me to delve into. What kind of shrimp are with them I've never seen orange or yellow ones like that (I'm a new though so 🤷🏻♀️). Subscribed and liked!
Hmmm? Ist es wirklich Dein Aquarium in dem Video? Der Dennerle Kanal zeigt exakt das gleiche Video, mit identischem (deutschem) Text. Dann war das sicherlich eine Kooperation zwischen Dir und Dennerle...
Top notch. A LOT of time went into this video. No better danio erythromicron video will ever be made.

FYI, never keep them with Kubotai rasboras, it really affects the emerald dwarfs badly. Love this fish!
