@@peptobismolveins well, the major problem is that actors are made into stars by the industry. They groom them, give their inner circle the awards and recognition. They help one another, they marry each other’s kids etc. this does not happen in other industries. People may work for their brothers or uncles but they are not made into Gods or bar outsiders from working in the company. They don’t display arrogance and obnoxiousness. What the film industry does is also more under scrutiny, but do they even care? Instead, they go on camera saying the most vile things. There is a complete disconnect between the paying public and them and their tantrums. To say we don’t have to watch their movies is one example of this disconnect. The aam janta would never go to their bosses and say you want me keep me or else fire me.

Watched this on Netflix. I don’t have words express how good and well executed this story is. Amazing. I’ve never been a fan of Alia but I have always admired her acting. After this my respect for Alia’s acting became more big. I still can’t imagine some other actress doing this role not alia. She nailed the character. Loved the movie.

Oh my gosh, I came across this movie by accident, and I don't regret it! I'm going to make sure I find and see this. The west actively makes sure the voices and history of non-European foreign countries are not heard. And I'd know from being a Congolese - American 1st generation immigrant, seeing how great and vibrant our countries are but also seeing how much America suppresses that truth, complexity, history, present and beauty! After watching teaser i thought alia dint fit for role, but after trailer…she just nailed and just awsme. No words for her acting skills
The acting was absolutely stunning. The production design and the cinematography is visually striking. It is also well written. I just saw this film last night on netflix without knowing what it is. I just suddenly saw the poster and clicked it for no reason what so ever because at that time I was craving for an Indian film. 2 hours and 30 minutes later, I made it throughout the film. I was so glad I clicked on it with no context at all. Lol. I wish it will stay in Netflix for long I want my siblings to see it.

Just watched this on Netflix, it was phenomenal and I really enjoyed it. It was visually beautiful and the acting was amazing, you could feel her pain literally. Not to mention the actress was absolutely beautiful I couldn’t take my eyes of her. Will definitely watch it again ♥️
watched two times in theatre. we were a bit disappointed with SLB for making the same genre again and again. But he proved himself. And Alia just mind blowing. Her acting is beyond any words. The movie is like a artwork. And Alia play the artist. Need more powerful female characters like this. In movies.
