Signs Your Heart is Blocked
1- Not to care of having a relationship with Allah swt or the religion of Islam.
2- Not enjoy the actions of worship. Worship becomes routine other than something of greatest pleasure.
3- Ignore advice or become arrogant upon listening to advice or religious gatherings.
4- Habitual sinner, no guilt or conscience upon doing sins.
Things that Cause Hardness of the Heart
1- Avoid or minimize remembrance and zikr of Allah swt.
2- Not following the laws of Islam. Not living the lifestyle of a Muslim.
3- Following bodily desires.
4- Too much entertainment, frivolity or wasting of time.
Cure of the Hard Heart
1- Monitor your Islamic lifestyle and heart. How much you follow Islam.
2- Perform extra navafils. Increasing action of worship obligatory and nonobligatory.
3- Increased or continuous Zikr of Allah swt.
4- Being in righteous gatherings and surroundings.
5- Dua for cure of the heart to Allah swt.
6- Constantly think about next life and death.
7- Reciting the book of Allah swt. Recite Quran.
8- Feeding the poor and wipe your head over the orphans.

One of the companions (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) asked: “O Messenger of Allah, the laws of Islam have become many for me, so tell me something which I can cling on to.” He ﷺ replied: “Always keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah.” (Tirmidhī 3375)

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):
1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) .
2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.
3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity) .
4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)
5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.

I used to believe that my brain was the leader of my body and mind. But now I realize that No matter how smart our brains are. If our hearts are dark and locked we will use our brains for mean things such as deception, corruption, etc.
