for a Masterpiece figure he does not look screen accurate, i mean they leave out most important part: visible head syndrome when looking underneath the car!
Yeah right your not going to display him upside down if you want to display him upside down then get some Bumblebee's that has visible head having that visible head is not really important since your not really looking at him upside down
yeah, they must've changed that very late into production, all the collectors' toys have them! sure, the simple, gimmicky toys don't have them, but that's most likely due to their simple nature, not by intent.
As a younger fan I'd just like to say that I'm sick of how much Hasbro is leaning into the G1 aesthetic. I was exposed to Transformers in the Armada era so I have no attachment to G1. I respect it and appreciate what it represents for this franchise but like you said, the amount of Primes and Soundwaves that all look the same and have the same gimmick, it's just getting old. I would love it if we got more creative offerings and could see some stuff branch out from G1 and not be such a staunch direct representation of the classic characters.
Does Peaugh have connections with Hasbro/Takara? How else does he already have this figure? Lol just kidding. EDIT: I really like the look of this figure and the Camaro Masterpiece Bumblebee. Maybe I’ll get them both in the future.
@@thaylensabre I have Camaro Bee, but I made the mistake of getting him from ebay, and wound up with one with 2 left arms and instead of a left and right arm, so I cannot use the gun. I plan to find a replacement at some point.
My biggest mistake with him and the other MPM figures was getting the official version. My official Camaro Bee will not stand, and Prime in truck mode is worse than any pic I seen online. I'm having issues with VW Bee already. I have the KO for Prime and Bee and they are perfect!!
When the jedi master of TF toys don´t like the instructions, you know something can be done better. After a while without buying TFs, I bought Optimus Power of Primes. Is not a very difficult transform, but the red and black instructions are awful.
It looks cool but once again hi has a big backpack, I’m amaze on how Hasbro has never figure out what to do with Bumblee bee’s roof and windshield on any of the hundred molds they have may about move bee. If a 3rd came out with a solutions for that back, im in
Does it bug anyone else that Bumblebee doesnt actually have the door wings in the new movie, but they still added them to the masterpiece? Personally I prefer the movie look for him
Nice figure, but it does look painful to transform, but man, I totally agree with you on Siege, neat, but it's way too G1! we need fresh stuff, I think we're the only fandom that _actually_ wants stuff to be different from the usual nostalgic stuff.
I mainly focus on the G1 characters we haven’t got yet, I try not to buy multiples of the same character in the same line, like Power of the Primes Inferno.
I have money burning a hole in my virtual pocket and im looking for a collectible transformer or plural to help me get it under control and i just cant decide on movie MP figures . Im never sure if there just mainline leader class repaints or wholey original pieces? Im sure i heard starscream at the very least is a reused mold . But I don't know about this guy and others ! Urghh ;
The truth and not for being "party poopers", but ..., it does not look at all like the movie, it's like buying the "studio series" but bigger. Apparently, they took advantage of the mold of the studio series (camaro) and the masterpiece movie (mpm) and created these 2 hybrids of bumblebee before the movie was released and in that way, sell and sell. but when you went to the movies and saw the movie, you go back to your house, you take your bumblebee and you say: "this is a scam" .. "bumblebee has no wings", and worse still has a tremendous backpack !! .But well, let's hope that Hasbro and TakaraTomy, go back to get another masterpiece of Bumblebee more faithful and more in line with the movie, because this Bumblebee masterpice mpm7, I smell like "Total scam". Happily I did not buy it. Greetings from Perú ...
G1 fatigue...maybe....start putting out BRAND NEW characters from other sources...not just G2 why not a new direction...G3?...how about Beast Wars but with how G1 or 2 characters would look in animal form? ...try ANYTHING...oh,well....
Not really the best attitude? "Screw the people who actually make Transformers, let's not even buy the original and go and support some random Chinese company profiting entirely off stealing!". Admittedly, I buy a few KOs but you've got to support the original company at least sometimes too.
@@channelwithout I do if there is no good upgraded KO alternative but other than that I don't care who makes the product as long as it's better and cheaper.
I think I've been seeing a trend. The new studio series Barricade is a simplified version of Movie Masterpiece Barricade. There's an SS Jazz out now, and an MPM Jazz coming next year. And supposedly a new MM Starscream and Megatron...that are probably more complex versions of their Studio Series counterparts.
I'm sorry but it's a masterpiece release with parts not lining up in car mode, a shoddy weathering job and a transformation that is hampered by parts just flinging themselves off the robot. Hard pass. These damn things are hella expensive and I'm not paying the extra cost for something that's this unworthy of the moniker 'master'piece.
Lots of Masterpiece figures have issues like this; from Hotrod's chrome easily rubbing off, to the paint scraping issue and saggy barrel on Megatron's back, to MPM Optimus' _everything._ If you disregarded every figure that has minor issues like this you'd have to ignore half the line.

First off: those figures are quite a bit older than this one, and second: the damn thing is 90 dollar plus shipping, which for me is another 50 to 60 dollar. For that money, I expect the figure to live up to some kind of standard, preferable a high one. And it just doesn't for me.
The movie isn't even out yet and we already have a masterpiece
is that a good thing or a bad thing?? Im really starting to hate that every transformers movie and show nowadays is making Bee the main character.
Johnreel01 did you see the new bumblebee trailer
@@johnreel0161 bad thing. This toy isnt even accurate to the new movie.
I'm fine if its not accurate but hey it's your opinion

That’s just an inside joke for us fans.
@@Okusar i agree with you on that , i got a good at the cgi model and i'm disappointed 4/10
This has already became my favorite Bumblebee, he just looks so cool with that battle mask on and those weapons.
Love these reviews peaugh!!! Thanks for making the time to do these!!!
shen You’re welcome!
Too bad the movie decided to not give him the door wings in the end.

My judgement is clouded by the fact that this came out before MPM06
I thought Ironhide will come out first then this one can't believe this one came first
Watching you fiddle with this thing makes me appreciate one steps.
That looks awesome! I want it! You’re very lucky to have this figure!

Great review Peaugh. Can't wait to get him and MPM-06 Ironhide (someday...).
Thank you for this detailed review. Mine is on the way and I can't wait to review this on my channel
2018 truly was the year of the Bumblebee. :P
We need a movie masterpiece dropkick and shatter
This and the deluxe already do more for me than any other movie Bumblebee toy.
I really like this design and the masterpiece figure looks great. Think I’ll be getting it regardless of how the movie turns out

At least the panels don’t start being misaligned just from handling the car, unlike the G1 MP Bumblebee.
Do you know if theyll be making Shatter and Dropkick in MPM format? I loved this movie!!!!!
0:22* wow, you survived for 800 years? Who are you, Master Yoda?*
@peaugh is there a way to make the chest pieces lock in place or is it just loose?

Can't wait to get this guy. They did such a good job
Justin Mohan no they didn't
I am more familiar with movie masterpiece figures coming out AFTER the live-action Transformers movies are made. But now, it's reversed!
IS there a difference between this MPM-7 "Hasbro" Verison versus a "TAKARA" version?
Nice figure, but it does look painful to transform, but man, I totally agree with you on Siege, neat, but it's way too G1! we need fresh stuff, I think we're the only fandom that _actually_ wants stuff to be different from the usual nostalgic stuff.
That battle mask makes me think hes kamen rider bee lol. i love it. cant wait for this guy
Pictures show that his eyes can light up. Does it require separate batteries?
Those maybe photoshopped? There's nothing in the instructions about light up eyes.
I mainly focus on the G1 characters we haven’t got yet, I try not to buy multiples of the same character in the same line, like Power of the Primes Inferno.
Me too i reminded myself many times but i still buy the same character because the figure of the character looks good
Or an improvement, like Prime Wars Trilogy Punch/Counterpunch.
I don’t mind the inaccurate wings as where else would they of put them
Bee Bee I do that's the main reason why slot of people hate the figure
On a hinge
Will you review Perfect Effect Mega Dragon and Fanstoys Cyclonus?
Misael Castillo Not sure about Cyclones, but definitely planning to get Doragon
Looks good, but I hate to say it, not digging the color of those windows....wish they were just clear (white?) windows as opposed to teal/blue.
But to me the blue is better cuz it hides the robot bits inside
@@Tyrantcx9 To me, it just doesn't blend very well with yellow, all that much, in my opinion.

is the studio series a downscaled masterpiece, or is the masterpiece an upscaled studio series?? 🤔

It's not for me, but it's still a neat figure.

How tall is he in inches?
Too bad it’s not screen accurate with the door wings.
Mark Squared exactly
Lol you got it already how
He looks just like the movie but the wings
ROBERTO!! (Futurama)
The transformation design of this seemed rushed or at the very least undercooked?? I'm not a fan of how finicky the transformation looks.
i'm really like this mpm bumblebee design but.... those wings.... 89% not accurate from the trailer.. because the wings way too bigger ....
Cue the ten thousand people whining about Bee not having door wings.

looks great, but the price is terrible for a deluxe figure

it's just a bigger Little more detailed studio seris bumblebee
