For me, just half of my Tuya devices are working flawlessly with Home Assistant. Some, like flood sensors are critical. Some, like Smart IR are not so critical.
I’m using practically all card inside one vertical custom:stack-in-card It got a menu bar in top with by default only one or two buttons. Depending on the situation, context, time of day, current activity, battery levels of my mobile devices, my todo’s or calendar state, the menu buttons appear or disappear. Managing the lights in the house isn’t really the main usage of my home assistant anymore. I use it to manage myself 😁 keeps ahead of my chores, appointments, shoppings etc. I will try out the new dashboard features with the flex cards and so, but right now I feel like these features aren’t really useful in my personal build.
Yeah totally agree! I don't use my dashboard for lights really as they are automated. Mainly to-do lists, security cameras, vacuums, conditional section for important things at the top, such as when alarm is on or a window open and some other bits. I just use the Sections View now because the ordering all sorts itself out really and easy to move things around; visibility options are useful. Good to hear how you use it!
ua-cam.com/video/N1JCgtcVn4c/v-deo.html Your Tile Card Configuration window has Layout as a Tab. Is that new with the Beta? I dont have the option on mine, just Config and Visibility.
Ah I see. So the layout tab is only for the sections view. I can't remember when it was added now, but not many releases ago. The normal masonry view doesn't have it. Perhaps that's it?
Thanks for this video! You do a great job! Keep the good work! :-)
Thanks, much appreciated!
Adjustable columns widths, yay!
I'm loving all of the UI additions this year! It has transformed my dashboards without having complex yaml and custom cards.
@@lets-automate It's going to be a big update for tablet designs
Yeah, will be a big improvement for tablet dashboards.

Another good vid...thank you 😀
