He is the original Spiderman, everybody loves Peter Parker, he is the hero of the people. I personally think Ultimate Spiderman, the first reboot released in the 00s, that Peter Parker is right up there, legit teenager, super charismatic (and as a bonus, the best Mary Jane of all times)
B. Parker's universe is the one with original Coca-Cola advertisements so I love to think that it's our Earth that gets the 'Lame' Spiderman, not the idealized one. And I couldn't be prouder of our version.
Is because Peter B. Is the original Spider-Man the one who loses Uncle Ben, George Stacy, Gwen Stacy and Aunt May who at the end come as a champ. While blond Peter is a perfect version of the character where everything that could got better for Peter it did.
@@theincrediblespiderdude5454 I mean wouldn't that just instantly debunk canon events as a whole? I know it's probably gonna be revealed in across that they don't matter much but idk. Every canon event is supposed to happen to every spider-man
@@foursidekm It depends because there are some requirements that the Canon Events need to fulfill. For example the police Captain that died need to be close to the Spider-Man or Spider-Woman to that dimension that is the reason why the Spider-Man of Tobey Never loose an Police officer because he was never that close with a police officer in the first place. And we don't know if the blond Peter was Close to a Police Captain. The same thing happened with Ben dying. Ben is still alive in universe where Peter never become Spider-Man this is something that most people get wrong about Canon Events there's some requirements the Canon Events need to be completed. Gwen Stacy died falling in love with Spider-Man but for that Gwen shouldn't be a Spider-Man. That's the reason why Gwen wouldn't died if she dated Miles because she take the place as the Spider-Man of her universe and Peter Parker take the place of both Gwen Stacy and Uncle Ben. Maybe the only canon event of Blond Peter's was only Uncle Ben's death. We also need to remember Canon Events are also good things so maybe this Peter only got the good stuff (Kissing Mary Jane, getting married )
Five years ago, I really thought the self reference humor was going to ruin the movie and the groundbreaking animation would be its saving grace. For the most part, I was proven wrong. I find these origin story montages to be quite cleverly written.
Tbh I think this kinda humor only really works for characters like Spidey, DeadPool, and maybe Mcu Starlord(?). They don't fill the runtime with these references which makes it special when they pop up
Nice to see Spiderman that is off his prime. Also, i like how he saw a spooky interdimensional portal and his first reaction was to continue eating his pizza.
it makes sense why he'd be so terrified of having kids. Peter and MJ both knew they loved each other a lot, but adding kids to the equation terrified Peter because not only does he work one of the scariest jobs anyone could have, being so life threatening everyday, but the fact he'd have to learn how to raise a kid that shares his powers too. Mix both those reasons together and even superheros can crumble under that kind of pressure
Jake Johnson makes for such a phenomenal Peter Parker because, like most of the cast of this film, he is so skilled at going from lighthearted and comedic to really deeply emotional and not in a way where the contrast is offputting. It only adds to the character. Love the guy. So impressive as he has some of the least screen time of any version of spidey and he is easily top 3.
I like how after his divorce with MJ he was wearing his Spider-Man suit all the time. MJ was the last thing Peter Parker had, so he gave up being Peter and Spider-Man completely took over.
His story were mostly tobey's (while blonde peter has tobey's action and heroic deeds) Sad to think that tobey's spiderman might have the same story, but tobey spiderman eventually "work it out" while peter B. only managed to "work it out" after spiderverse
As a millennial, I’m happy Tobey’s Peter worked things out with MJ. I do hope though Tom’s Peter won’t rush into moving onto Gwen. But with Tom and Zendaya going steady, that’s going to be difficult to predict how their offscreen relationship will effect their onscreen one.
I really feel Peter B Parker should become the leader of the Elite Strike Force in Beyond the Spider Verse. He’s the oldest, most experienced, rational and capable Spiderman than ANYONE
Peter in fhe first movie: "I'm afraid of having kids" Peter in the second movie: "LOOK AT MY BABY SHE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD AND I CAN'T BE SEPARATED FROM HER."
What most people don't even notice is that Peter A. Parker would've turned into Peter B. Parker soon enough. A was only 10 years into his career while B was already 22 years in his career. B's universe wasn't where everything goes wrong for Peter Parker but more like what happens when he's still here as Spiderman. In the first ten years he gets all the glamour; people love and adore him, there are restaurants created in his name, companies let him endorse their products, he's basically a celebrity, and he gets the girl of his dreams. But after ten years Spiderman gets old and tired, his restaurants are shut down for health issues, he is becoming old news, he's having marriage issues, and a midlife crisis. Hell A was already showing signs of his fatigue near his time of death.
That's not what happened Peter B. Universe is our universe. He never had the spider Lair, instead of being loved by the city he faced the hatred of New York due to the Daily Bugle. Blond Peter would continued to have a prefect life.
Peter B Parker before he warms up to Miles is my favourite version of Spider-Man ever. The guy who's seen it all, done it all and it just like "fiiiiine, I'll save the day, again". He's good in the Across but I hope he gets more to do in the next one. And they get him out of that dressing gown.
B. Parker's theme is fantastic. His whole schtick is that he's a second-rate spiderman who has flaws and makes mistakes, but that makes him all the more human and relatable.
I see a lot of peeps getting confused saying that blonde Peter is the OG but that's Ultimate Peter Parker (Earth 1610) This Spidey, Peter Benjamin Parker (Earth 616) is our and the original comic Spidey. Ultimate Peter's middle name is also Benjamin but I get why they took out the B for one of them to make them different.
Apparently in Spider-Verse trilogy, the Earth-616 in this movies are not the same as the comic on earth-616 due to irreconcilable differences in their history.
2:05 ita great to see that OG peter saw this happening . That means when he tells miles he is gonna find him after hea dead he already knew he and peter B were gonna meet

Really an awesome version of Spider Man
Love his vibe
“She wanted kids and It scared me “ damn that shit hurts because I can see both pov
@@theincrediblespiderdude5454I mean blonde peter still presumably lost uncle ben and captain stacy right? They're canon events
@@foursidekm Blond Peter probably only loose Uncle Ben.
Sad that Peter and MJ's relationship deteriorated after Aunt May died.

They don't fill the runtime with these references which makes it special when they pop up
@@mochii813 You don’t say
Absolutely pitch perfect. The perfect take on a 37 year old Peter.
For sure.
The part about seahorses sounds like he’s on the verge of tears
You can actually see the eyes on his mask quivering as if he's holding back from sobbing behind the mask.
Peter B Parker: “What was my canon event?”
Miguel: “…so…remember that Spider-themed restaurant?”
Peter: “…I should’ve caused an anomaly.”
he's really a good mentor & caring father🥰🥰😍😍🤩🤩😘😘
Jake Johnson makes for such a phenomenal Peter Parker because, like most of the cast of this film, he is so skilled at going from lighthearted and comedic to really deeply emotional and not in a way where the contrast is offputting. It only adds to the character.
Love the guy. So impressive as he has some of the least screen time of any version of spidey and he is easily top 3.
Peter B Parker is my favorite Spider-Man
Favorite
"Saved the city some more, maybe too much"
The genuine annoyance in his voice
I like how after his divorce with MJ he was wearing his Spider-Man suit all the time. MJ was the last thing Peter Parker had, so he gave up being Peter and Spider-Man completely took over.
This scene makes me laugh and cry at the same time
His story were mostly tobey's (while blonde peter has tobey's action and heroic deeds)
Sad to think that tobey's spiderman might have the same story, but tobey spiderman eventually "work it out" while peter B. only managed to "work it out" after spiderverse
Peter b parker is the original comics spiderman while tobey is Sam raimi version of spiderman
Canon events
1:19 I felt like he laughed while recording this and they kept that in.
I really feel Peter B Parker should become the leader of the Elite Strike Force in Beyond the Spider Verse. He’s the oldest, most experienced, rational and capable Spiderman than ANYONE
Hes the og spiderman . Even Miguel respects him the most
But he doesnt like responsability. Not serious and has a family .
I don't think he's interested in all that, he just wants to focus on his life and his family at this point.
Fr he is better than Miguel
Because he’s older than Miguel not to mention he’s more selfless and didn’t believe it was canon events that made him Spider-Man but rather fate
@@clintwaki6936 I'm so happy for him now me personally I don't have that woman commitment right now so maybe I would be a better option😂😂
0:35 His theme slaps hard. Absolute banger.
He is the greatest Spiderman
Peter in fhe first movie: "I'm afraid of having kids"
Peter in the second movie: "LOOK AT MY BABY SHE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD AND I CAN'T BE SEPARATED FROM HER."
Best spider dad of animations
😅 A drone flying into his face was crucial to his backstory.
It was a Canon event
@@DsnyH must be miles got hit by one too
It really hits home when he said "and I handled it like a champ" and he's just crying his eyee out in the bath.
2:17 he was trying to catch the pizza 🥺
Nick Miller is so talented , he's a writer , bartender, lawyer and now he's a spideman too 😁
Peter B Parker before he warms up to Miles is my favourite version of Spider-Man ever. The guy who's seen it all, done it all and it just like "fiiiiine, I'll save the day, again".
He's good in the Across but I hope he gets more to do in the next one. And they get him out of that dressing gown.
Of all the Peters, at least Peter B gets to be happy and finally gets to raise his daughter Mayday with MJ
2:03 I like how he’s trying to eat his pizza 😂😂😂
This is an older version of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man in my head canon. Minus the self-producing web.
So this confirmed what happens if you've become a Superhero for 20+ years.. 😂😂😂

From depressed hero to happy family man, Peter B Parker will be forever goated 🐐
He better not die or something in the 3rd Spiderverse Movie 😢
Funny that in a monitor in Kingpins computer a bit earlier, it is suggested that this Peter comes from earth 616, thus making him THE Spider-Man
Yep, the original. 60s Spiderman, 90s animation, 00s movies, Spectacular Spiderman animation, etc.. he is all of them, THE Spiderman
I mean he's not really. It's this universes 616 but THE main 616
"Humbling Reality Spiderman"
B. Parker's theme is fantastic. His whole schtick is that he's a second-rate spiderman who has flaws and makes mistakes, but that makes him all the more human and relatable.
2:46 How did I not notice the Shaun of the Dead reference?
In my opinion when peter b parker just shows up it just makes the movie better 😂
So everything that happened recently in comics already happened to him?
@@sgdklnptihygoh7747 He's from Earth 616B, the comics only went up to the start of ITSV, that's where his timeline diverged.

So important to remember those words Miles utters at the end. "And when I feel alone like no one understands what i'm going through. I remember my friends who get it".
