Peter B Parker had the biggest character glow-up in Across the Spiderverse.

I love Peter B. Parker so dang much. It's like Lord & Miller wrote him specifically to give a big ol' middle finger to the current comics for refusing to let Peter Parker grow up.
Imagine if Peter stayed in this universe like he planned, he would’ve done the same mistake Miguel O’Hara did. Replacing an already dead version of you could possibly destroy one universe.
Jake Johnson was an amazing choice for a VA for spiderverse. I honestly do wonder what would've happened if the original peter parker lived.
Such a joy to see how he turned his life around in Across the Spiderverse.
The saddest part for me is when you see him go through the divorce/ his depression is that he's always wearing his costume. If I'm not wrong, every time Peter goes through some horrible event that affects him to his core he either abandons the suit or rarely takes it off. I swear Peter is a spectacular superhero, and no one can deny that.
"She wanted kids and it scared me." Peter I know the feeling bro, because I didnt have a father im terrified of become one for fear of being like my father or being lost since there was no guidance.
Peter B. Parker is actually the best Spider-Man. No, seriously.
"Saved the city some more, maybe too much."
This sequence manages to be heart-breaking and hilarious both at once without any tonal whiplash.
"Flash forward. I'm in my apartment doing push-ups, doing ab-scrunches. Getting strong."
I like how both Peter & Miles invest/promote a business (Spider-Man restaurant & Baby powder) which later backfires on them
A lot of people see him as this laid-off giving up Spider-Man, but that just means he's much stronger than we think. Even now, being a bit overweight, 40 years and with a general lack of effort, he can still keep pace with the other Spider-People. So if he was at his top form, and given that he's been Spider-Man for 22 (or 23 in ATSV) years, he's one of the most experienced Spiders, he would be a menace.
You can hear a slight laugh from the actor on “I ALWAYS get back up”.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
