Thanks for the review! I will be going early October. How is the reservation for these restaurants? Its my first time going to Disney world and I am worried about reservations
I’ve eaten at Tony’s a couple of times. It’s good basic Italian food. Kid-friendly dishes. I remember getting that HUGE cupcake for my son for dessert. He had four bites and was full. :)
Just this minute left Tony’s... felt like we were rushed out and the Hangar Steak was tougher than tyre rubber... last day in Disney, back to the U.K. tomorrow. Disappointed in the final meal. Anyway, you guys are awesome we all love watching what you do. Thank you 😃
We went to Tonys our very first trip to Disney. I have a basil allergy when the chef came out he was very rude and refused to make me a basil free dish. I was so disappointed when I walked out
Great video. Glad to see you liked it. We have eaten there several times and liked it. I have seen some bad reviews on youtube and didn't eat there on our last trip. Since you liked it we may try it again. Think Mickey!
Thanks so much for this. The reviews have been so bad for years I stayed away. Everything looked very good so I will try next time I go to Magic Kingdom. :) Tracy
Tony's is so sad, one of the best locations at MK and the worst food. Calling it Italian is shameful, its the Olive Garden of Disney. Its par boiled noodles reheated with stock marinara and fried chicken. Been a few times while visiting, its always been the same. Maybe we are just spoiled living 10 minutes from Boston's North End, but calling Tony's good Italian is like calling Burger King a steak house. Come up to Massachusetts and my wife and I will show you a whole new world of good eats. =)
What a shame that most people in the comments didn't like Tony's; I thought it was brilliant. I had a wonderful experience there; the cast members were very kind and me and my friend were treated like royalty. The restaurant was especially kind to me when I told them about my food allergies. They served me a lot of food (mainly extra gluten friendly bread). My favourite dish was the famous spaghetti and meat balls - but instead of meat, they made the balls were out of chicken balls (which were fab). I would really recommend Tony's to anybody, especially with people with food allergies. =D
We are there in May and did it as part of the festival of fantasy dining package and we loved it. We love that movie and It was really cute we thought. Our server was amazing and the food was really good. I had read bad reviews and we were very pleasantly surprised. I’m glad y’all have a great time too!! Whenever we are fortunate enough to come back to Disney world (hopefully in the next 2 years we will be moving there!!) we will definitely be coming back to Tony’s. I wanted to ask y’all, have you ever been to jungle navigation skipper canteen in magic kingdom? We went there too and it was really amazing! Wasn’t sure if you’d ever been or not. We also went to TREX in Disney springs and coral reef in Epcot and coral reef was wonderful. Plus it’s gorgeous in there!!! Hope y’all have a great day!!
We think Tony’s is one of the best restaurants in Magic Kingdom (like Cinderella’s Royal Table better). To be honest, I had the chicken Parm last time and I didn’t care for it. Loved the bread, salad, dessert, and meatball from my kids plate! I DEFINITELY agree there wasn’t enough sauce served with the spaghetti that accompanies the chicken. However, on a previous visit, I enjoyed the flatbread at lunch. My husband enjoyed his steak well enough. We’re going to Skippers Canteen on our next trip just to mix things up, but we’ll return to Tony’s soon.
I am so glad you guys and your friends had a good experience and enjoy your food.. we have been there twice for dinner and we did not enjoy our food. The service was pretty good other than that 👎👎. As always we enjoy your videos.
It is truly difficult to eat at restaurants in WDW because they are not very good to begin with. We ate at Tony's and vowed never to return. When you've eaten at an actual Italian restaurant, it is with a bit of trepidation that one ventures into such a place. But, it WDW and you have to at least try. Not good. Don't know about changing chefs. The red sauce is canned and not fresh and don't know if a new chef would change that.
Glad to hear that the new chef is trying to improve it. I haven't eaten there in 5 years, because the last meal was so bad, but everything I hear about the new chef is positive. Might need to give it another try. It's a beautiful room, if the food is just above average, it would be such an improvement.
Thanks for the review. I've always wondered about this place but haven't dined here because of the unfavorable reviews - just as you mentioned at the end of the video. This was a good review and you guys tried a nice variety of items. I think I have to try it now!!! Thanks again!!!
The 2 trips to Tonys for us went very poorly. One trip we had some of the worst service of ANY Disney restaurant. In fact, I believe we did not tip and left without finishing our meal. The other trip I made a comment about the sauce tasting like canned sauce and since then almost everyone I have ever talked to or watched on reviews has said the same thing. I heard that the chef has changed but I don't know that I would return. That said, I also did not like the food at Tutto Italia Ristorante so maybe it is just me.
We ate at Tony's on the food plan and felt ripped off. This is Italian fast food. A very bad representation of the Italian classics, and way, way overpriced. Go to Via Napoli and enjoy a decent meal at Epcot.
I’ve never had a bad meal at Tony’s. We always get the spaghetti, though. Maybe that’s hard to mess up? My husband requires gluten-free, and always loves the soup, bread, and spaghetti.
I've heard this as well, but got some negative reviews last week from two separate families I talked to at our resort that happened to eat there, so who knows. For what they charge and having such an unusually prime location, It's inexcusable that it's not excellent every time. Oh well... it is what it is. I'm glad the WDW couple had a good experience at least, and I hope that's at least the trend going forward!
I like wdw couple. But are they being paid. 2 years ago went to Tony’s food was horrible. I love lady and tramp begged my husband try again. We were there just this past Friday 9/14/18. Pasta was hollow. Sauce was ragu..fettuccine was dry. Clumpy- the chicken was so dry. And there were huge Cobb webs on the lamp. Very bad review.
Not my first choice not even my last choice. Not sure if it’s independently operated and just a leased space. It’s the worst in all the parks. Mama Rosa in DHS is way better and that’s not the greatest.
It looks like people don't like Tony's but I've been there 3 times and never had a bad meal my only disappointment was that I never got to sit in the main dining room we always set outside and they're like porch area. I would go again but I would ask to sit in the main dining room. Thanks again for a great video!
We ate there before and I was expecting it to be really bad but could not get a different reservation...to my surprise it was really good and the service was excellent
The one thing that’s always been good there is the calamari !! Been there twice years ago and thought it was only so so ....but , I have heard better comments on it the last 6 months ....I do think it’s the new chef . Glad to see u liked it ....I kinda want to go back cuz u can’t beat the location and I love lady and the tramp !! I heard there is a dinner package for the parade there now . I need to check on that ...that would be very cool !!
Family and I are from New York so we are exposed to some of the best authentic Italian food in the world , so we are extremely 🍀, unfortunately Tony’s in Disney is in a premier location, with absolutely the worst Italian food on property!!!!!!! Let’s be honest if you like a metallic sauce taste you will love this,, horrible food all around, while on Disney property please take transportation to tutto in Epcot excellent food and ambiance or il mulino located in the swan hotel, please don’t waste your time or $$$$$$ there less the mediocre 😎😎😎
Star Wars Master - completely agree! Restaurant food should taste better than you can make at home, or as good at the minimum. This food is on par with Olive Garden, which is a shame to even call Italian cuisine. Go to the Italy pavilion in Epcot instead 👍🏼
Star Wars Master probably the best Italian within Disney gates which we forgot to mention is either Ravello at the Four Seasons or La Luce at Hilton Bonnet Creek. Not Disney owned and operated but they are AMAZING
I've heard so any bad reviews about Tony's that I was surprised to hear a good one. We had never even thought about Tony's because of the bad reviews. Maybe we will try it one day.
That is a fancy Italian restaurant. I've already looked on the menu and I may do the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo.
Thanks for the review! I will be going early October. How is the reservation for these restaurants? Its my first time going to Disney world and I am worried about reservations
My daughter and I went to Tony's a couple years ago. We got the chicken parmesan and loved it.
Always wondered what it was like in there ...thx for the video guys KP x
Great video We stopped in for breakfast on our last visit it was ok. Nothing to write home about. Thanks for sharing. Mike
My Westies TV do they have breakfast? Menu just shows lunch and dinner.
Laurie S we were there for a character breakfast.
I went to this restaurant once on my first Disney visit. Didn’t that place show you same movie over and over when you have lunch or dinner there?
When I went we had great service!
I’ve eaten at Tony’s a couple of times. It’s good basic Italian food. Kid-friendly dishes. I remember getting that HUGE cupcake for my son for dessert. He had four bites and was full. :)

Ken gives a great review 👍🏻
He certainly does!

Jenn and Ken, hello again!! Hehe
Nice review...haven’t eaten there in years...had a not so good experience there years ago,and never went back but may try it next time again!
I have always enjoyed eating at Tony's! I personally think their food is delicious, although the service could be better.
Thanks so much for this. The reviews have been so bad for years I stayed away. Everything looked very good so I will try next time I go to Magic Kingdom. :) Tracy

Based on what we were served our last time there and given that as my only alternative, I'd gladly leave the park and go to Olive Garden.

I will be going to Tony's town square on my next trip, what do you recommend?
Garbage, absolutely garbage. Paid about $70 for two for basically microwaved mush.

In my opinion the legs of the calamari has a different taste and also texture.

rpop414 it’s more Americanized Italian. Via Napoli is on our list for least favorite restaurants
I’ve never had a bad meal at Tony’s. We always get the spaghetti, though. Maybe that’s hard to mess up? My husband requires gluten-free, and always loves the soup, bread, and spaghetti.
That place is an abomination. You all got lucky (or club 33 VIP status or something). Eat there at your own risk!
That has been it’s reputation but they do have a new chef and I hear she is really trying to turn things around. May be worth another go. Ciao!

We’ve always enjoyed Tony’s! Good food & good service! Great Vlog😀

Thats unfortunate, I wish we were getting paid. Sounds like you went to Via Napoli lol

when i ate at Tonys years ago it was terrrible the sauce tasted like ragu . ive been afraid to go back maybe its changed

So many people complain about Tony’s, but we’ve always had great meals, our fav is the chicken parm! Glad you guys enjoyed it too!
I've been here a couple of times over the years and always enjoyed my meal.
We LOVED it in 2017. Mom/daughter night with my Lil one for MK EMH. We had dinner there.
We actually enjoyed our meal the first time/last time we were there....but haven’t been back more because there are too many other places to go!
The bread and the dessert looks good!
The one thing that’s always been good there is the calamari !! The green Apple sorbet is AMAZING ! (Seasonal)
Oh please don’t compare Tony’s to Ravello! Ravello is excellent Italian food... Tony’s, not so much...😕
I ate there with a couple of my friends last year and it was pretty good.
Family and I are from New York so we are exposed to some of the best authentic Italian food in the world , so we are extremely 🍀, unfortunately Tony’s in Disney is in a premier location, with absolutely the worst Italian food on property!!!!!!! 100% agree with this review. We're NY Sicilians and Disney red sauce is terrible 😫 Our kids hated it too. Only delicious item was the tiramisu.
Poor Taylor sounds so stuffed up!!!
Debbie Stewart this was back in July when I was stuffy lol
We ate here, vegetarian food was pretty decent actually. Only I froze half to death. Very uncomfortable in the aircon.
Awful music…
Oh it’s the worse!
I've heard so any bad reviews about Tony's that I was surprised to hear a good one. We had never even thought about Tony's because of the bad reviews. Maybe we will try it one day.
David Thacker idk if we hit it on a good night or what, but our food was honestly good lol
Fresh is always better. 😎😎😎❤
Thanks kids!
