Great review. Exactly my thoughts on the summarization of the BOBLOV F5. Now having had two that both didn't work as expected. The colors on your F5 looked way better than that on my two dysfunctional F5's. Overall the video sharpness is good, but is weighed down by all of the negatives, such as a broken and buggy RoadCam app that can't connect to the camera to adjust settings.

Thanks! I always think of more I could have mentioned but I covered the important things. I did notice that we were not the only ones with complaints. I saw on the Facebook page for Boblov folks having the same issues with the app. They should have known better than to release it like that. The roadcam app had problems before they tried too get it to work for this, it only had 1.5 star rating. I wish these body cam places would just stick to simple cameras with 1080p, decent battery life and nice stabilization. That would make it perfect.

Do you plan to buy BOBLOV F4 Body Camera with Image Stabilization ?

@@gottkungkub I don’t know. I will have to look into it. If the price is right I might pick one up just to test put here on the channel.
Once they have stabilization they start to complete with action cameras , so in my opinion they need to be priced lower than action cameras because they will still have much less functions that an action camera. The body cams do have much better battery capacity and many can record for many hours though.

sadly a garbage product that is NOT ready for release. Had my hope on this mini bodycam cos it is featured as 4K WiFi and small etc but when you want to record videos, that’s where it fails ! The RoadCam app is a junk because the moment you connect to WiFi to play any recorded videos it automatically keeps recording videos . Now you have to go though the junk app to delete the unwanted recordings . The WiFi app is supposed to be used only to play recorded videos . The wifi app is also terrible with ES or image stabilization not existent because when you check on the ES and go back to see if it is turned on it shows ES off . The worst part is the camera buttons . It only has two tiny buttons and one power and the next is for everything else sucha s record, stop play wifi etc which is a problem . You won't know if you try to record or try to stop or trying to turn on wifi and you are supposed to see a tiny bluelight to make sure if is recording or on wifi which you won't see out in the day light. It also has useless brightflashing light that you will mistakenly turn on which is annoying and draws unwanted negative reaction. Sometimes when I go out and come back home to see the recorded videos , there is no videos it recorded . What was the purpose of the camera if it didn’t record ? You are supposed to see a tiny blue light which you won’t see during the daylight in bright day. They should have separate buttons for wifi . They should fix, add bigger couple of more buttons the on camera and come up with a new wifi working WiFi app .

Yeah, it's too bad really because if they had done this well I think it would have been a winner for them. I am sending this one back. I really love the simplicity of the old W1. If they could fix the delay from when you switch recording on to when it actually start recording and add some kind of recording indicator on top of the camera it would be awesome. I hate doing negative reviews but people need to know exactly what they would be getting.
