Albert Wesker is a character from the popular game series Resident Evil. Give him an occasionally great singing voice, 80s clothing, and a younger face and you get Graham Bonnet.
yes but memory not so good now, forgot the song while listening to v rock and came back to find I had previously liked this video. weird I will be hiding my own Easter eggs this year, can't wait to find them!
I found out about this amazing early Steve Vai / Alcatrazz song from the V-Rock radio station on Vice City game. I am so glad I did. I have listened to this song constantly ever since.
What a strange career Graham Bonnet has had! He has/had one of the best voices in rock & metal...got paired up with some of the greatest guitarists ever - Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Steve Vai - and yet most people still don't know who he is.
He didn’t have the songwriting talent of the Dios or Coverdales of the world and never really played the role of frontman well. Voice alone didn’t carry him to the heights.
He was only an unknown R&B pub singer with no album prior to Rainbow stints. Someone in Rainbow introduced him to Blackmore after Dio left and made him into a screaming monster which he didn't like a bit. Bizarre occasion for a great talent..
My God, this is pure 80s. Fresh, original, very freak and funny, and the Bonnet/Vai performance is amazing How I miss these times I, unfortunately, never lived. My parents were lucky
This is definitely one of Steve's best timeless performances! I still listened to this great song well into 2023 and so will I do in 2024! This masterpiece has been staying with me since my teenage years, I swear, and I am very grateful for this! All the best, have an excellent December, and rock on! 🤘

I just discovered this song earlier this year (at the time I'm writing) and the first thing I thought of "Holy shit is this where Konami got the inspiration for Contra's Stage Clear theme?" And sure enough I see this comment!
Recently re-discovered this album on CD (wore out the tape years ago). It's really amazing, it has Vai's whole bag of tricks - the stereo delay at the beginning (which he used later on 'Hina'), the tapping riff on the chorus. But they're all solid, musically, not just gimmicks. And love Vai or not, there's no denying he's one of THE most stylistically recognizable guitarists around.
The Golden Age of Rock and Metal, especially Metal. It was exploding from all angles into new, fresh and exciting areas for the guitar etc. Plenty of fairly unknown epic projects and albums that would blow away anything around today in 2023.
Saw this on UK’s The Tube early 1986: my brother phoned home from work said to turn the TV on - the first time I ever saw Steve Vai and then next he was in David Lee Roth’s band and I’ve followed him ever since. Such a great track for the whole band but Stevie does kinda steal it 🔥🎸🔥

This was truly the last great era of rock music. Grunge exploded on the scene in 1991 and the songs were all about how much life sucks. The videos had to be equally dark and depressing as well. And rock still hasn't fully recovered.
Disturbing The Peace has some of the very best songwriting of the age. Even if the lyrics are weak and cheesy, the melodies and arrangements are top-notch from beginning to end.
