I just wanna add for my USA girlies, you can TOTALLY thrift tenshi!! It is super easy to find white/light blue and black nike/adidas or other sporty hoodies and shirts. I get most of my sporty shorts and skirts from the mens shorts or athletic womens sections of thrift stores. Also for shoes, you can find demonias, nike/adidas/puma secondhand or online thru shoppes like poshmark,depop, & mercari. I hardly ever buy any tenshi brand new unless it is from a Tokyo shoppe that I really really want
nuta @nutanosekai also made her own version she calls datenshi kaiwai/fallen angel kaiwai (堕天使界隈), which is the clothes in the same style as normal tenshi kaiwai but the black colorways and it looks very cool as well for people who dont have the courage to wear all white! its a bit more on the subcul jirai spectrum though

Black colorways are very popular in japan already (it is just a subset/more recent popularity of subcult girls) but I do love how nuta putd a little spin on it, giving it a name!

I've been curious about Tenshikaiwai for a while, though I'm not really into the sporty-ish look but I do like the cyber and girly themes of it, and use of pastels. I wish they made more lavender color outfits, like pastel lavender and white would be great. Same for Jirai-kei I could only find very very few purple blouses (To Alice and DearMyLove), so far haven't seen any purple Ryousangata though.
I might end up trying Tenshikaiwai because it really does look comfy and it does have nostalgia for me since I used to be super into things like the wide legwarmers and armwarmers when I first got really into anime (around early 2000s). Oh also the chibi angel wings, very nostalgic too reminds me of when I played Ragnarok Online like the Angeling monster. I think it'd look cute with chibi stars too, like a Little Twin Stars aesthetic thrown in. I'm looking forward to see how you help the style evolve!
There are some purple set ups!~ but yeah that’s a great idea…. Maybe I’ll make a lavender set soon!
I'm really into chinese indie brands and I browse taobao once in a while- I've seen some posts from belchic on my explore page and I've recognised a lot of stuff, so I'm pretty sure it's a taobao reseller. I've checked their website and they have a pretty high mark up, I don't really recommend buying from them. Btw great video as always, I love your style

Belchic is a Taobao reseller, so they upcharge the clothes more than they would cost if you bought them from Taobao. Tenshi leaning brands that I know of are KittyBxllet and Gangster Inn on Taobao
I cant wait to see the halo tutorial. This video is so so helpful. I was actually already browsing ACDC Rag as I watched this. I might buy a shirt or two. And just bought some stuff from 6% as well. I’m about to have no money and no regrets. Fashion makes me a very happy nonbinary girlypop. And I’m so so happy to see more Tenshi/Jirai and just Jfashion/Harajuku stuff in general. Makes my heart so happy.

@@CapsuleBunny yea! I just spent to what is to me a fair price on some ACDC RAG and some 6% but its not cheap! Still to me its worth it. Its my early birthday presents to myself since I had the money now. Why not yanno? My dad would faint at this. But he doesnt have to know the prices. I can just tell him I got it with my art commission money bc I did
I have never ordered from belchic but I know they are a taobao reseller. I have tracked down many of the original listings they are selling.

I've been following Miloli for some time and thought the clothes were just for self use so I was surprised when I saw the launch post recently! Would love more info if you know anything (tho I bet the price point will refrain me from buying T_T)

Belchic is just a reseller of Taobao brands (idk if scam or not tho), the 2nd image you showed is from a brand called Hotdry Sis.
Also it would be awesome if you could post longer review vids for the brands you own! I'd love to see the fabrics and everything up close!

I have a list of tenshi kaiwai brands + shoppes on my tumblr, just based on what people (like you and nuta) wear. It's like still so niche here in the US that it feels like it's only for me 😂 I think I'm the only one in my city/state that wears it, but I try to share the information as much as I can! And educate Newcomers. Still trying to get your mugenmuso set!!
