I fear that one day, a day just like today. I see it coming from two days away. Start feeling restless maybe anxious. Just smile and hustle to appease and then... you wake up that morning knowing it's all wrong, nothings okay and all you want to do is to not exist. You think that nothing matters and lets be honest... it doesn't. Then you hear a little song on your discovery weekly spotify playlist. You play it again and again on your drive home. You start singing along by the 3rd replay. By the 5th, you are crying. By the 7th, you start to feel and you remember. This is the dark. You've been here before and you can do it again... it was easy. I love a song that split you right to the core at the exact moment. A song that pulls at you and shakes you around a bit when you can't move. A song the reminds you to remember. A song that lets you know you are not alone, crying in your car driving 55 on the pacific coast highway. It was a hard one today. -=~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~=- This song just reminded me that that my lows are low and my highs are high. Sometimes its great, sometimes awful. Ultimately this too shall pass like it always does. This song helped really saved me today. Thank you Willy! Good luck you all.
This is beautifully written. I love when Spotify gives us a song to portray our emotions!! the songs that feel so emotional and inspiring, and we can play them over and over again. Wherever you are, sending you care and good wishes!
I'm really glad I happened to walk out, choose a random channel, and see a short featuring this song. "Long time Listener, first time caller" - honestly, the music was the draw! Great short, too. Was immediately drawn to it. This is gorgeous.
When you talk me down, I go down I go down, I go down When you talk me down, I go down When you lift me up, I jump I jump, I jump When you lift me up, I jump When the road goes on, you sail You sail, you sail When the road goes on, you sail When it cracks and burns, you bail You bail, you bail When it cracks and burns, you bail But it's just a passing phase Oh my days, oh my days My foundation's started to shake Scared that it might break How did I come this way Come this way, come this way? But it's just another page My book will have it's day Why can't I see when you're talking to me? Why can't I see when you're talking to me? Why can't I see when you're talking to me? Why can't I see when you, see when you Talk me down, I go down I go down, I go down When you talk me down, I go down When you lift me up, I jump I jump, I jump When you lift me up, I jump When the road goes on, you sail You sail, you sail When the road goes on, you sail When it cracks and burns, you bail You bail, you bail When it cracks and burns, you bail
This song is so moving! My favorite off his latest album. The lyrics and instrumentation just speak to me, even if the meaning of the lyrics isn't clear. Like his song "Carry On", in an interview, Willy said that sometimes you don't need to know the answers. Perhaps that holds true to many things. The voice and guitar playing is superb. I hope we get another album soon!
Holy shit I've been loving this song on spotify for like a year but only now saw the music video. I'm blown away! What a work of art, absolutely stunning gorgeous!
Surprised to hear this very Jamaican vibe song on an INDEPENDENT FILM written by Nora Kirkpatrick and seen on platform OMELETO, VERY nice I must say😎🤗🥰
I got to see willy Jason alex and violet last night it was amazing there chemistry was beautiful willys voice is epic and violet ,ulti task between instruments so precise good groovy band with lots of soul and love and messages of hope
You pursue the fantasy, chase after it, but eventually realise its nothing more than a dream. The white cat doesn't care at all.. 'when it cracks and burns, you bail'
Ho Nico, I've been listening to this Willy Mason song, "Talk me down", and find it absolutely facsinating - I love it. But can't figure out what he's on about? I read your comment suggesting that it's about falling in love with a dream... How did you hear about this? What makes you think this? Hope to hear from you! Jack
What you mean is, its not horrifically compressed like the other shit your likely to hear, and your listening medium cant handle it. buy better speakers bro.
Why isn't this bigger? Such a good song...!
what an under-rated gem

After watching Alter 💚
It's a video about falling in love with a dream. But the dream isn't real.
I think.
His voice sounds a lot like Coldplay's lead singer.
"When news is sewn, you'll suffer from ignorance or dyslexia."

Sounds a bit like Coldplay, but more folkie. I likey

Lovely song, horrible production, glad he is doing plenty of live sessions to circumvent Dan Carey's butchery.
What you mean is, its not horrifically compressed like the other shit your likely to hear, and your listening medium cant handle it. buy better speakers bro.
You gotta be trippin'. The production on this album is top drawer.
