Great video Rick! Used to like watching you on Aussie Gold Hunters few years ago (when I last watched it) you just popped up on my UA-cam feed so subscribed mate.. Glenlivet is a well known Scottish Single-Malt Whiskey mate.

Thanks for the memories. have spent much time around the woodline north east of Bulong, in Vic. these days sadly , missing that countryside and the gold.

The bottle you found that said Glenlivet on it could be a scotch whiskey bottle. It's a popular brand over here in the UK.

G'Day Rick I love the stuff you have found and am going to give you a bit of a lesson okay. Bottles that have their tops broken off can still bring in dollars mate same with old ceramic ink wells etc maybe not big prchase items but up to maybe the $6 to $12 range only way to get a better picture is to check out those places that do sell em. I used to collect as a kid and still keep a few rare bottles and one is a hand made wine bottle that I got from another collector way back in the late 1970's. I had it on display in my high school in the early 1980's and was offered upwards of a grand for it but declined this collectors offer. Those Rum bottles may also be be old black glass whiskey bottles and depending on their thickness could bring you a nice sum to an avid collector. Those axe heads or pick axe heads can also bring you a good dollar too especially if they have the makers mark on them. Keep a keen eye out on old blacksmithing tools especially the Anvils an old Peter Wright Anvil in great or good condtion will bring you up in the thousands but do your research if you do find an old anvil and really look for markings. Same with old knives from Green River brands from golly old England again look for markings and do research. Plus old farriers rasps and files and the list goes on and on. Just a heads up for future finds and places to look I will keep the rest to myself as some day I might get back out and look for myself lol take care and good hunting mate. I miss seeing you looking for the gold hey......

      Thanks Rodney
I'm happy to take your advice!
Over the years, I have wondered what was worth picking up. From now on, I will always be on the lookout for those things as well.
I did find a couple of torpedo bottles, but they were too far gone. Hopefully, this year will bring more success.
      😃
