    Another spot-on video. "Normal" people often use small talk as a way of probing for strength for weakness. For one thing, it is a test for "normalcy," because people who "talk" normal usually are. They also use it as cover to mask their manipulations when they are trying to cajole you into working for their interests and against your own. The Sigma response is to withdraw from these people at the first sign of manipulation, whereas a "normal" person understands it is a natural part of life and plays the game, such that a mutual understanding of each party's open and hidden agendas is revealed. This is how business negotiations and many personal interactions develop. "Normal" people don't understand why Sigmas break off negotiations and walk away when the normal person tests them by saying something they know is not true. Another "normal" person tends to regard the misdirection as a normal human way of doing business and shrug it off, if the negotiations show promise of eventually reaching a mutually beneficial outcome. A Sigma assumes the other party is not trustworthy and walks away, often to the other party's consternation. "Don't take everything I say literally!" [i.e. "don't be mad with me just because I lied to you"]is their plea when the negotiation fails. Sometimes there is a chance to recover and move forward when the "normal" person says that, but often, when dealing with a Sigma, the trust is broken and can't be restored. Sometimes the "lie" is just a careless misstatement based on lack of information, not an intentional attempt to deceive, so Sigmas may want to loosen up a bit when negotiating with others.

    • @iconicshade
      @iconicshade 6 місяців тому +1

      If you pay attention to the person's energy you can tell if it's an intentional attempt to deceive. Just takes learning is all, but spot on with what you've said.
      Sigmas don't like playing the game the way most do. Which is why we spend so much time on our own.

    • @alansewell7810
      @alansewell7810 6 місяців тому

      @@iconicshade It took decades for me to learn that so many people are deceptive, manipulative, and bullying for sport as well as desiring to take advantage of others. Aggressively dishonest and bullying people see Sigmas as easy marks. Luckily, there were enough decent people in my life to make it worthwhile, but I can see how socially naïve people become psychopaths if they don't encounter anybody in life who will give them a break. These days, I hire attorneys to vet people I haven't done business with before, as attorneys are experienced in ferreting out ne'er-do-wells. About once every 15 years I litigate an egregious offense rather than just let it pass, like I would have done when I was young. I think having a severe controversy every 15 years or so is typical in an active life, but it is better to avoid controversies by vetting people enough to screen out the irresponsible and malicious ones before you interact with them.

    Excellent video -- all valid observations and points.

      The more that people are aware of a Sigma's goals, the more they attempt to interfere or obstruct, usually.
      The objection almost always: "Nobody else does that; or does it that way!"
      Eff small-mindedness.

      @@redgodofwar7723 In that eccentric society known as the public high school, one inevitably gets grouped somewhere, even though they might make every effort to shatter the usual stereotypes.
      Sigma personalities, without intention, ruthlessly violate these stereotypes. The status quo is of no validity to them.

    • @redgodofwar7723
      @redgodofwar7723 8 місяців тому +1

      @@FischerFan Since I was a small kid, I have always hated cliques -- talking about the same, limited subjects; dressing the same; very protective of who is allowed in the small group; making fun of "outsiders", etc.
      I've always had a diverse group of people who I call friend or associate. The broader the array of people in my life, the more my own beliefs are challenged and the greater stimulation to my own thinking process.
      Others see this as a challenge to their comfort levels and personal limitations. I find the diversity of people and ideas stimulating, plus an opportunity for growth.

    • @FischerFan
      @FischerFan 8 місяців тому

      @@redgodofwar7723 In retrospect, I have to regard my former high school as among the most police state-like, and intolerant of societies.
      The most concrete example being the elitist jock crowd, who resort to anything from ridicule to violence to prevent anyone who is not a member of their exclusive group from disproving them. Public school teachers do not lift a finger to eradicate these attitudes.
      Having a variety of different types of friends enables one to make assessments and to ultimately decide who are the better people with to associate. You eventually see who is informed instead of who is ignorant or brainwashed, as well as who demonstrates principles and demonstrates the best example for others to follow.
      While still on the topic of high school, if you have ever seen the movie, 'To Sir, With Love', you will soon realize that the movie's main character of engineer-turned-schoolteacher, Mark Thackery - played by the late great Sidney Poitier - is of a character that is very sigma male in personality and style
      ..and the movie itself was released all the way back in 1967!

    Always right, or nearly always, is hilarious, and a great source of self amusement. Many girlfriends have said the following: “you’re always right aren’t you?” Or “don’t say that because I know it’ll come true because you’re always right.” Or “how do you always have the answers to everything?” My answers are always “yes I am.” And “it’s just the way it is, don’t know what else to tell you.”

    This video presents one of the more compelling insights into the sigma male. It is also a video that needed to be posted.
    All seven characteristics are evident, but the last one is especially true. At my previous job, the new owner, who was a complete jerk and was absolutely vicious to me, tried to discredit me and accused me of 'manipulating the receivables.' only days after he took ownership of the business. I explained to him that I recorded payments on the dates the customers remitted their payments, to give them proper credit, and as identified on the weekly summary report from the source. He went to all the trouble of contacting his accountants and, upon learning that I did the right thing, he just threw his hands up in the air.
    The first and last points are why the sigma male is the Leftist's worst nightmare. Sigmas do not act on emotion, whereas liberals constantly do. In recent weeks, I have found it child's play to expose and discredit vegan activists here on YT. The moment I challenge their ideology and expose their corrupt agendas, they immediately disappear from the discussion. Politically, the moment one gets the Leftist to look in the mirror, and at an example of their own hypocrisy or inconsistency, they sound like crickets.
