I seem to chronically cut my strips slightly too narrow. Then I go shopping to try and find replacement fabric, but that is getting pretty darn expensive. And my scrap stash is growing. Then I heard one of our quilty UA-cam celebs saying just seam it. Our quilting foremothers did that if the fabric was too small, they put a seam in it. Well darnit, why didn’t I think of that. So I have strips on my sewing table right now to be seamed so I can cut it the right width.
Oh, I love the Once Upon a Time Christmas line. I wish the panel was placemat sizes.
I love the Jolly bar patterns! I’ve used several of them multiple times using two charm packs or half a layer cake. Hey, a free pattern that’s cute can go a long way! Love watching your channel and thanks for your time and effort! Pam in NC.

I have so many projects that I am working on. I will get them done sooner or later. I’m not in any hurry, just enjoy the process.
You are doing a great job with your projects. I finished a top from Lori Holt's Hometown Holiday jolly bar. I love the way it came out. Just need to sandwich it and quilt it. Hoping it will be ready for Christmas.

Thanks for the talk, I try to tell myself keep going forget about that mistake but sometimes it's difficult. Seeing you work on your quilts has given me motivation to keep on sewing. Thanks.
I tell myself “just get it done” sometimes I undo and sometimes I keep going. At 80% done I hate everything. At 100% I love it

As I’m sitting here watching you, I’m going over all the projects I have started that are in various stages! Sometimes I just want to sew and not think about anything! I think first I need to get organized! I always need to get organized!!! I want to take a complete inventory of all my current projects and pending projects! I’m afraid once I do that I will realize just how much I have waiting to be turned into something special! 😊

My good old Singer. I've had her over 20 years!! I got a Janome 2 years ago. Both brands are fantastic.
