Yes you have to but you should focus only on 1 or 2 products and build landing page for it, that's the catch

I found that when I tried to choose the business account option they had me fill out stuff and then they set up a business marketing appointment with someone who then analyzed what I wanted to do. He asked a bunch of questions too. He wanted to see how I was already set up and wanted to know what I was going to be doing. I mean how are we supposed to be creative when we have to answer all of those questions before being allowed to have a business account on Pinterest? I don't know how to politically be successful on there without spending money to make it look the way they want. It sucks in the U.S. and esp in my red state.

Would I be better off selecting 5 core industries to focus on and then create landing pages for those specifically?

@@entrepreneurship279 you can add a box to collect email addresses onto a page on your blog, and then you can promote the link to your blog page on Pinterest. Of course you would want more than just your email subscriber list box on the page, unless if you're specifically telling people to go sign up for something if it's set up as just a landing page. Normally an email subscriber box is placed on the first page of your blog, and also you can have it added to all the hosted pages of your blog, or your subdirectory of pages, so that every new blog post includes it.

My question regarding the cookie duration is, when a customer does not buy after 30 days..my whole link is invalid just for that cutomer or for veryone and I have to add a new link? That means I have to keep track of all my used links and eventually replace same after they expired? Thank you

I use one domain and create a different landing page for different products.
thank you! just one question. are you allowed to make multiple pins for the same link? I have read that you should avoid using the same URL for every pin.
Of course you can, but you also don't want to make them all one URL. You have to remember, if you create a blog, and promote from your blog, you might possibly only be using URL's from your blog, so the domain URL would be all the same, but your actual page subdirectory would be different. This way all your affiliate links would be in the copy of your blog, across many pages that you create, in various articles and such. This way you don't have to promote ugly links on Pinterest, and can use a more professional looking domain URL. Then you can promote your articles on your blog, and it's not as obvious that you're promoting affiliate links, even though you will disclose this on your actual landing page before your copy for legalities.

I would say, if you are able to "group" offers together you can just make a landing page that includes all the links you are promoting.

hey man, I would say you need more than that for paid ads, maybe even $2K + to do all the testing and find what works for you
Yes you can. Just make sure you set a limit, and watch to make sure you don't go past it. If you make enough to cover your investment and have extra left over, you can reinvest that money back into more ads. When you have a smaller budget, you might not be able to do as much testing in a condensed amount of time, but you can still do testing in one form or another. You can either try split testing for a few days or a week. Or you can run one ad for a few days to a week, then test a different one after that if you have the money, and see which does better. The more you can try out different types or variations of ads, the better to see which does best. But don't overwhelm yourself. Try the recommended amount of daily ad spend, and run the ad in small increments to get an idea of when you might get the best traffic weekly. Of course, seasons, holidays and special events make a huge difference. In my area, what might not work in August because everyone is enjoying their summer outside, might work in November since it's colder.
