Zak Starkey was using them when I saw the Who in Oct of 22. If I had to guess it’s probably just because they had to turn down their volume as a band to accommodate the orchestras and also because Roger and Pete just can’t handle the noise anymore.
@@SuperSuperbowl1 Any of the videos posted on UA-cam with an orchestra seemed to verify what you said but you could barely hear Zak and pounding drums have always been at the heart of the Who’s music. Regular drums, miking of same and plexiglass shields like many bands use would solve that problem.
Roger sounds great! He will always and forever be my number 1
Was there, was a great show!
The only singer 80 years old who always sing like 60 years ago...
Hard to tell from video but sounds pretty good. Maybe not as strong but he’s 80 and I love him and that he’s still doing it - for us!!!
He looks super huggable ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Greatest “Rock n Roll” singer of all times hands down! ❤❤❤
Right here with youuuuu! British soul! and Roger is funny too! and..........where' are you_ Pete?

Ugh electronic drums.
Don't sweat it
I agree. Sounds like he’s playing cardboard boxes.
I mean couldn’t the guy afford a real set of drums?
