I discovered this fight purely by accident on my third full playthrough, having gotten Ending H twice prior. It’s just crazy to me that I’ve played this game so many times, and am still finding entire boss fights that I had no clue existed. It makes me wonder what else I’ve missed.
damn that is crazy, if I recall their is a unique ending with Leaf's ring ware if you beat the game and keep wearing it into a new cycle I think you keep it, meet red hood all 10 times and then...things change. won't spoil it though. this game is just full of secrets. congrats on getting ending G on your first run.

I didn’t find this on my third *cycle,* I found it on my third *character.* Like I said, I had gotten Ending H twice, and was now replaying the entire game for a third time. My first time finding Ending G took ages. That said, this ‘unique ending’ sounds interesting. Do you think that you might be confusing it with the ending where you side with Mary Ann in the hidden route, or is there actually something secret if you do Red Hood’s quest while already having Leaf’s Ring from a previous cycle?

If you talk to red hood 10 times and do the thing where you press esc, when you go past node leaf actually appears with red hood and you get to choose between the two, choosing red hood will make you fight leaf, choosing leaf makes you fight red hood. IIRC you can't have duplicate leaf rings
this guy (vorpal, hunter of the wicked dragon) killed corpse dragon jabberwock. additionally, to access this fight you need to have the vorpal sword, which has the "jabberwock slayer" trait - unsure on the exact effects (betting on just a damage buff), but it specifically makes it stronger against jabberwock
