Breaking news from Times of Israel: the former Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid has said “If the international media is objective (i.e fair) and shows both sides (both narratives), it serves Hamas,” Lapid said on Sunday. “My argument is that the media cannot just claim to bring both sides of the story. If you do that, you are only bringing one - Hamas’s side,” So no coverage means no war crimes?

Well now they can have their freedom. When Gaza is erased they will have to migrate to a place where Israel can't control them. If I'm not mistaken, Israel kept around 5000 Palestinians imprisoned for years without justice, while the Palestinians only kidnapped 250 Israelis when 10/7/23 and start that time Israel bombed Gaza like crazy. Where everything started from Israel itself, it must be corrected first.

The Biden administration, with full knowledge of Israel's crimes, including genocide, has thrown its full support behind Israel in its total disregard for international law. The US has suppressed any criticism of Israel's actions, prevented any other country from acting to prevent the genocide and vetoed and voted against resolutions calling for a ceasefire in the UN. Also, the US congress, with full knowledge of Israel's actions has voted to send additional money and weapons to aid Israel in committing genocide. Any one of these actions would make America guilty as an accomplice to Israel's genocide of the Palestinians.
The fact is that without America's large financial and military support Israel would not be able to carry out the genocide at all,. So, there is a case to be made that the US is just as responsible as Israel if no more so for the genocide.
Charges must be brought against those responsible, including those in the US, if genocide is ever to be prevented from happening again in the future.

"You cannot expect peace without addressing the underlying grievances" - very true! And if you think about it realistically it means: no peace without Israel *totally* reinventing itself. I only see Israelis nowadays considered left wing extremists that are able to realize this. All others think in a way that makes slow motion ethnic cleansing unavoidable. It needn't even be intentional - it happens as a result of periodic outbreaks of violence due to the unbearable circumstances.

Well, civil disobedience does not depend on the occupiers having a change of heart. It depends upon them losing enough standing in the social order to retreat, because of voices of condemnation over meeting non violent resistance with violent occupation. Until the world wakes up and uses their voices they will not change a thing.

I’m not supporting anything that’s happening right now, but I can say that there are many people who would say that what happened on October 7 was not about resistance, but rather a war crime in and of itself. Just expressing what other people are saying.
