Hi sir very good explanation of the concept of using n, iso, Neo, sec ,tert prefixes. Doubts regarding using this are clarified. But a small correction in naming compounds using your personal trick. 6:52 the same compound is given in class 12 NCERT (ch- alcohols, phenols and ethers ,table 7.1)
But it is named as Isopropyl alcohol and not sec-propyl alcohol.
Why is it so??
I think i have found the answer now, maybe the explaination is that we use 'sec' only when there are 4 carbon atoms, nether any less nor any more, only for 4 carbon atoms.
