The story of Dante is actually different, Beatrice see’s Dante at the end of his rope and planning to take his life as he was banished from his home and had lost everything so to save him she sends Virgil the poet to guid him through not just hell but purgatory where Beatrice herself would then guid him through the nine realms of heaven.
Dante went through the CIRCLES of Hell, not Spirals. The only place where Spirals and Hell are associated is not in Christianity or the Divine Comedy, but rather in Buddhism: if someone was particularly evil in Life, King Yama would sentence them to 1000 years in the Spiraling Hell, after which they are reborn with negative Karma. I'll be Frank: I doubt Clown is as well read in world Mythology, and that the Spiral symbolism is for something simpler - just hypnotism, or mind control. After all, Wally always keeps a piercing stare, and has exerted control over the Restoration Project, now serving as metaphorical Puppets in an attempt to restore literal Puppets.

LoL, despite Wally being the main character, it's actually Frank Frankly who's been drawn the most frequently, and with Julie Joyful too. Even when the About Page Art is not canon, Frank and Julie still had priority to have character reference sheets published, both in Book Form and Real Puppet Form. Kinda Glad it's not canon, because the "Muppets come alive to revive forgotten cartoon show" has been done before, TWICE. Hello Puppets Midnight Show, and My Friendly Neighborhood - the former finished its story cleanly but quietly, and the latter went nowhere beyond a videogame demo, neither caught on. Welcome Home is different, I can tell from the exceptional detail in its visual storytelling, but I don't have full confidence in its quality or even completion, considering the Artist, Clown/Dylan, is a Tumblr Artist and pulled a JK Rowling no less, plugging random LGBT identity flags on characters who have no Story yet. Sure, the Creator "says" Frank x Eddie, but he actually draws Frank x Julie, and a lot of it too - so much so, I don't think he understands 1970s Americana and the Symbolism they used in the Day. A perfect example, Welcome Home is supposed to be a Saturday Morning Cartoon, and its debut was on 11 October 1969. Suppose that date didn't land on a Saturday, what then? Would the Cartoon debut in 2014, when 11 October was a Saturday? It was a Saturday in '69, but Clown was more focused on the date lining up with National Coming Out Day, so it's telling what quality the story is going to have - bad! (Politics before presentation always leads to Poor Quality.) The Story has just begun after all, so there's still hope for a Quality ARG, provided Clown's Mental Health Break doesn't go on forever, the Website hasn't been updated since Valentine's Day.
