Acts 10:28 Says: "You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean." And if we’ve been tracking with the story in Acts 10, Peter’s statement should give us pause. Why did he say God told him in a vision not to call any person common or unclean? The vision said nothing about people. It didn’t mention Gentiles, it didn’t mention unclean people. It spoke only of unclean animals-the Lord told Peter to “kill and eat.” And yet, without being told, Peter knew that the command Jesus repeated three times, “What God has made clean do not call common,” referred to more than just food. It was also about people. How did Peter make that connection?
Well, it was because he had been raised a good Torah-observant Jew and he knew how interconnected food and people are by the Mosaic law. In fact, let’s take a quick sidebar to look at what the Torah says about food and people. Because that is the key that is going to unlock this whole passage for us.

Jesus was not popular with swine herders
    Matthew 8:30-34 KJ21
Now there was a good way off from them a herd of many swine feeding. [31] So the devils besought Him, saying, "If Thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine." [32] And He said to them, "Go." And when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine, and behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea and perished in the waters. [33] And those who kept them fled and went their ways into the city, and told everything and what had befallen the ones possessed with the devils. [34] And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they besought Him that He would depart out of their borders.
Pork can Be laden with worms just like catfish etc. I've seen it in a resturaunt cutting board .
    Ezekiel 4:15 NKJV
Then He said to me, "See, I am giving you cow dung instead of human waste, and you shall prepare your bread over it."
Cow dung is useful to cook . Other animals ..⁉️
Noah likely discarded feral pork after cutting into it .

@@TheBiblicalRoots friend, i watched the long version as well, thank you. there's no indication anywhere that God reminds peter to eat pork. Also peter never been a devoted torah observing follower. He said to Jesus when he met him on the boat, get away from me Lord, i am a sinner. Peter was uneducated fisherman. Also, if peter forgot that he can eat pork or didn't understand for so many years he can eat pork, he would have asked for forgiveness the same way he repented after betraying Jesus. How about all other disciples and followers, did they all forgot to eat pork? What is the guarantee today we forgot or didn't understand anything Jesus taught, especially transmitted through so many people and translation. And if it is so important to eat pork. Why Jesus didn't eat pork himself, but wasted 2000 pigs and cast the demons to them to show they are not good animals, when he could have saved them to feed the poor.

@@radostinvasilev599 Hi, Radostin! There was no reason for Peter or the disciples to ever eat pork. I am not suggesting that Jesus ever commanded anyone to eat pork. The NT says that they were _allowed_ to eat pork (or any other formerly unclean food) if they wanted. Keeping the Mosaic food restrictions is certainly allowed, but it is not *_required_* for followers of Jesus.
      Shalom! Rob

@@TheBiblicalRoots yes, i know, i watched a few of your videos. Nevertheless even if we are not saved by works, its our works that shows our faith. The transgression of the law, not of anything else is sin. Its one law and its the moses law. If they don't believe moses they won't believe anyone that came back from the dead, Jesus. Moses talks about me, but you don't believe moses thats why you don't believe me. Not one letter from the law will be changed before it's applied. Levitical priesthood is swapped with the priesthood of Jesus, but that doesn't change the law of moses. You shall not kill. You shall not work on Saturday. You shall not eat pork. You shall not lie with the same sex. Doesn't matter who is the priest. God is the same. The law is the same. Doesn't matter if you need goat sacrifice or Jesus is the sacrifice. God is the same. The law is the same. You need to stop on red light. It doesn't matter if its a naked girl there holding a red flag or there's automated red light. It doesn't matter if you put atomic bomb over Japan or hit Abel with a rock. The law is the same. Don't kill. If you think your government is more righteous for allowing all things and living "by faith". Than its the same as the Israel government that punishes you for eating pork but not heaving mercy and justice, heavier things. I agree, there's a new covenant that doesn't apply the law by death anymore, but apply is by faith and inner conviction. Nevertheless the law still remains. Don't let others judge you if you don't eat pork and if you don't work on Saturdays. And if you keep the feasts of God. These things i tell you today they are perpetual for all generations. Until the end of the world. The world will pass away, but my world will stay. And i pray those things not happened on a Sabbath day. Because sabbath day remains. I hope for your understanding. Remember Leviticus 13? Paraphrasing. Even if the son of God came and want to change the law, don't believe him. Is that not so?

Pigs were not a readily available food source, except in Gentile areas such as Gadara, and on top of that, the temple authorities would've insisted that swine herds were kept well away from Jewish sites, and the Romans wouldn't have wanted to hit that button.

THE ISRAELITES WERE TO OBSERVE THE CLEAN AND UNCLEAN LAWS THAT WAS GIVEN TO THEM THROUGH THEIR MEDIATOR MOSES ; FOR THE CLEANING OF THEIR FLESH/BODY , NOT THE HEART/SPIRIT . THIS IS PART OF THE LAW OF MOSES ; THE SIN SACRIFICE LAW FOR THE CLEANING OR ATONEMENT OF THE FLESH/BODY , WHEN IT BECOME UNCLEAN DUE TO TOUCHING A DEAD BODY , WOMAN ON HER MONTHLY ; FOR PURIFICATION . ISRAEL WAS THE ONLY NATION GIVEN THS LAW , NOT THE GENTILE . THAT IS WHILE ISRAEL WAS NOT TO MINGLE AMONG OTHER NATIONS , BECAUSE WHAT EVER THE GENTILE TOUCH , IT IS DEEM UNCLEAN . THIS WAS THE CASE IN GALATIANS 2:11-21 ; PETER WAS SITTING AT A TABLE WITH GENTILES , NOT HAVING THE LAW OF ANIMAL SACRIFICE FOR CLEANING THE FLESH . IN ACTS 15 , THIS IS CIRCUMCISED AS OF THE MANNER OF MOSES . AFTER THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF CHRIST , THE ISRAELITES CONTINUED TO OBSERVE THIS CIRCUMCISION FOR THE CLEANING OF THE FLESH DUE TO UNCLEANINESS , BUT NO LONGER FOR THE CLEANING OF THE FLESH FOR SIN : THE GENITLES WERE NOT TO START WITH THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE FOR THE CLEANING OF THE FLESH FOR UNCLEANINESS ; SINCE THEY CAME TO FAITH LIKE ABRAHAM , NEVER GOING UNDER THE LAW OF ANIMAL SACRIFICE ( ROMANS 4:8-17 ) . THE ISRAELITES WERE TO CONTINUE THIS PRACTICE UNTIL THE TEMPLE WAS DESTROYED IN 70 A.D. .
DANIEL 9:27 , 27.And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation , and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
HE IS JESUS CHRIST ; THE MANY ARE THE ELECT ; THE MIDST OF THE WEEK WOULD BE HALF WAY OF HIS SEVEN YEAR MINISTRY ; THE SACRIFICE AND OBLATION WOULD BE THE ATONEMENT OR CLEANING OF THE FLESH THROUGH MOSES , UNDER THE LEVITICUS PRIESTHOOD ; and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate ; WHICH IS THE ISRALITES SACRIFICE AND OBLATIONS , OF PURFICATION OF THE FLESH WOULD END AT THE DESTRUCTION OF THE JERUSALEM AND THE SANCTUARY ; WHICH IS THE TEMPLE . YESHUA was les by the spirit to tbe desert, there he quotes the torah saying it is written, it is wriiten 3 times, but now u wanna use paul to say tbat what it is written is no longer Gods words and tbat Gods changes his word.. How can u do such a thing? I dont get it.. i want to get it but i cant. Much loce to all of u who thinks some of gods words are void in messiah.

Can you point to error in the words of Professor Solbeg? Your serious condemnation lacks evidence. Rob himself says he wants to be corrected if he’s wrong. You are making an accusation that Rob is purposely perverting truth. The message given is truth- God gave the Holy Spirit to Gentiles, and torn down the wall of enmity. The curtain was ripped and no longer was the Jew to refer to gentiles as dogs. Paul was ordained by Jesus Himself to herald a new message of salvation apart from the law. A message of reconciliation and a new creation in a new covenant.
Peter wants to know why you place a yoke of bondage on the necks of the disciples that he nor his forefathers could bear?
