Actually his accent does not sound very Swedish...Just to let you know. Usually Swedish people have quite distinctive accent which makes us other Swedes cringe, and feel awkward.. But Peter's accent is special, it's not a typical Swedish accent.
i think Swedish people tend to emphasize English words awkwardly which is easy to spot, He doesn't seem to do that but it could still have something to do with his accent or maybe he just got a powerful voice. I haven't thought much about him earlier, i know i've heard about him but i got a major fangasm after seeing his character in "until dawn"
I met him in a small town in northern Ontario and he was so nice. The the name of the film was "Small Tiwn Murder Song", he actually had the lead ( I think Jill Hennessey was in it too) and it was a character part. Really solid little film. Regardless, he was coming out if the same diner I was in ( didn't notice him there though) and when he noticed me stupidly saying ( to my friends ) " hey isn't that... " he just smiled and said " yes it's me". He talked to us for about 15 minutes and just raved about how much he liked small towns. Again super nice and really down to earth. He seemed more interested in what we did ( social workers) than talking about himself. Really great actor too!
I've never seen an actor talk so openly about his political and professional views. This was a very in-depth interview. He seems like the kind of guy who enjoys a good debate, which is fine by me.
Peter is one of the most underrated actors alive. He was absolutely amazing as Lucifer in Constantine. And he brought a lot of color to Brothers Grim too.
With how he speaks and annunicates his English. It shows truly how great of an actor he really is. His roles from Constantine to Armegeddon, show off his chops and how he can pull off any character. I dont want to jump the gun here but Its really the same mystery with Daniel Day Lewis. I had no idea how he actually sounded in real life because all of his characters were so different. Same goes for Peter.
Peter, there is something very special about you and I have always enjoyed watching you on screen. Constantine was probably my favorite. That's a helluva role to take on and you crushed it. Much love.
Peter Stormare is a great Artist and a wonderful Man, as this interview clearly shows. Most recently digging him as Chance Gilbert in the incredible series Longmire.
God that was such a great interview and he seems like such a positive kind of guy thats happy and thankful for what he gets to do. Thats just cool to me to know he's like that, cause I love every roll he's played. 👍😎
His character Lev Andropov has obtained a cult status in Russia. We always cite him when our satellites get fucked up. He was even mentioned at one of the Roskosmos (Russian Space Agency) conferences lol.
I hope i get to meet him someday. It would've been really cool, he seems like such a nice person. I'm Swedish myself and i'm sad that he's THE underrated actor of this World. Screw everyone else, he's my idol.
I met him a small town in northern Ontario. ( My post is a the top). Sad to say he was a huge jerk.... just kidding. He was so polite and respectful. More interested in what we did than talking about himself. Real class act
Peter, I've always found your style of villainy to be really well done. I have recently done a movie playing a Russian villain and it was fun being unbound by the rules of good guy virtue and I really didn't mind that it was non equity. To everyone else, playing a villain really is a lot of fun. It's kind of like being a dad, where the good guy is your son, trying to wrestle you and win. But then when it comes time, you basically let your son win while saying "Ohhh noooo you got me!".
Damn, Stormare is hot at the moment, is in The Arrow and the Blacklist right now. I liked him very much in The Killing Room, good thriller based on true events.
The movie that was on the curriculum for my 6th graders (History class) today was Hitler: The Rise of Evil. I actually burst out laughing when I realized that Ernst Rohm (leader of Hitler's SA/Brownshirts) was played by Stormare. There is nothing funnier than seeing Dr. Hill/King Jorunn/Dark Orbit Faction Leader wearing a Nazi uniform.
Love this guy! In addition to everything else he's the godfather of Gustaf Skarskard, who plays Floki on Vikings...... Peter seems like a super nice guy.....
very smart man and he knows what he is talking about not just throwing some kids favorite BS. it is somehow funny to see people from outside of US care about America more than American people.
Ugh I hate the way the interviewer and the Huffington post were more concerned with getting info from him about the movies he was putting out. Peter just wanted to chat, it was so cool. Luckily it was live. I doubt they will ever have peter again, especially after the whole porno thing. I want to just listen to him ramble for a few hours about whatever he wants to talk about. He's a fascinating person.
This guy reminds me of Merlin the Magician from Excalibur. Aside from that; he’s super talented, and underrated. I know him most for his role as The Russian Cosmonaut on Armageddon (1998).
Speaking of tax breaks. Wilmington, NC was until recently considered to be Hollywood East. The governor here got rid of tax breaks for film-makers and now everyone is going to Atlanta. I think that Chik-fil-A had something to do with that too. They own a lot of land around Atlanta.
Most underrated actor ever!
+Pitrie91 just what I was gonna say
+Pitrie91 true
leave me alone
+Pitrie91 AGREED
yeah he is so fucking good!
THIS GUY IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!

The way this guy speaks is incredible.
I do as well. He has a very distinct voice I think because of his swedish accent.
Gem Sherwood Definitely. His speech pattern is really cool too, kinda reminds me of Christopher Walken.
Actually his accent does not sound very Swedish...Just to let you know. Usually Swedish people have quite distinctive accent which makes us other Swedes cringe, and feel awkward.. But Peter's accent is special, it's not a typical Swedish accent.
Mazzer L All I know is that it's fantastic.

He's speaking like that because he is Swedish :)

Thank you so much Heidi Nova, trust you are doing well over there? Thanks for your love and support 💗
this guy is so cool, true about movies too

...wow. I really like Peter. What a deep, humble dude.
he's saying such interesting things and she repeatedly takes it somewhere simplistic.
Such a honest, feet on the ground genuine guy!
I've been watching Netflix and other various pictures and this guy pops up in so many of them.
He's one of my favourite (underrated) actors, I'm always delighted to see him in a movie. Sadly I couldn't find many interviews with him
best portrayal of the devil EVER ! This guy just rocks !
+John Lorimer what movie is that?
+smoke126857 Constantine

American components, Russian components, ALL MADE IN TAIWAN!
He's both sweet and handsome :)

Oh my god. What a beautiful man! :D
He was one of the reasons Mercenaries 2 World in Flames was so good for me. I love this dude
He's a great actor! A legend !
Dino Velvet in 8mm. My favorite character.
DINO VELVET is the 'Colonel Kurtz's' living, breathing definition of 'THE HORROR ... THE ....... HORR-OR ------"
I will forever remember this actor as Mattias Nilsson
Dr Alec Reaper im sad about none of the fans asking about mercenaries lol
OMG holy shitmy nuggas
Peter was great in Fargo !

He got eaten in The Lost World, He got shot dead in Bad Boys 2. In both movies he play as bad guy but I feel sad for the character die that way...
"No. You will live, John Constantine. You will live."

Loved him in Minority report with Tom Cruise (am l thinking of the right movie?) where he gets the new eyes - DON'T SCRATCH!

What a sweet guy! The characters he plays are so evil--I love hearing what he's like as a human being.
He died way too quick in prison break. And it broke my heart😒😪
He sounds a bit like Christoph Waltz....beautiful man
Rampage Clover haha yes he actually does now when you're saying it
He hardly said anything in fargo, but was very effective
Top Class Dude
This guy reminds me of Merlin the Magician from Excalibur. Aside from that; he’s super talented, and underrated. I know him most for his role as The Russian Cosmonaut on Armageddon (1998).
Killing him of in prison break was the worst. I prefer the feud with his son in season 4 being replaced by him.
Abruzzi > T-Bag
Nahh, T-Bag > Abruzzi
Hell no.
Abruzzi!!!
Dr.Hill from Until Dawn and Isair from Icewind Dale 2...
I know he has been in lots of things but to me he is forever Dieter Stark from Lost World Jurassic Park, the guy that gets eaten by compies

This guy makes the receding hairline look good.
I still remember him as the one who gets attacked by a herd of compies after stunning one.
I'm here because of Until Dawn...
some of his best acting was in 9mm , that movie was so disturbing and he helped make it that way .
Speaking of tax breaks. Wilmington, NC was until recently considered to be Hollywood East. The governor here got rid of tax breaks for film-makers and now everyone is going to Atlanta. I think that Chik-fil-A had something to do with that too. They own a lot of land around Atlanta.
Lucifer of Constantine...Big Lebowski...Chocolat... Parnassus...Armageddon... John Wick......Prison Break...Fargo... he was everywhere...
he looks like Ryan Gosling on steroids
