Logic Pro is a powerful DAW that everybody can use to create Professional Sounding Music Productions.
With this channel, I want to introduce Logic Pro to as many people as possible to teach them how to use it to improve their productions skills, write better music, and ultimately, monetize their music.
I am an Apple Certified T3 Logic Pro Trainer and the proud creator of the Logic Pro curriculum created for Learnquest (an Apple Training Provider).
I create resources for the “Modern Creative”. This is today’s beat makers, song writers, composers, producers etc. who are looking for a new and comprehensive way to learn all things Music Production.
I have created courses for other UA-cam channels such as Beat Academy.
My latest course has over 6,000 downloads to date.

Thank you 🙏 🙏🙏
its help me thank bro
I appreciate the support. Glad it worked.
Thanks for this. Will only the Audio files be affected with this change? Or would plugins, MIDI, etc. be changed as well?
Only audio will be affected. be sure to follow my other channel @ThatLogicProGuy Cheers!
@@_TheModernCreative so that means that once we convert the session to 48kHz, and then save that as a template, the plugins (and everything else, including new recordings) would work the same way?
As it pertains to Midi, yes.
Вы спасли мне жизнь🥺 Спасибо!❤
🙏👍💪💯🔥
nic tip tnq sir
💯
Thanks for this. Just wondering - any reason (other than budget of course) why we wouldn’t use a dedicated, stand alone sample rate converter. In the one in Logic as good.
Not that I know of. I’m sure it would save you time but cannot imagine that conversion will sound any better.
@@_TheModernCreative Got it, thanks for the reply.
You saved my life :) ahaha thanks
Let’s Go🙏💪👍🔥💯
I'm sorry, doing Command+F just fattens my track size and reduces it back when I do it again. Is it just me? What am I doing wrong?
Audio Project Bin is key command -“F”
Thx
Much respect to you 🫡 💪🙏
does this work from 88.2kHz to 44.1kHz. because my iMAC is Maxed out and trying to finish the Song but not ready to buy a new iMAC yet but need to Finish PRe_Master to Bounce Out & MASTER.. Thank you, George Amodei
I have never tried this at any other sample rate. Can you resort back and let me know what happens? Please be sure to “save a copy as” of the entire session so if something goes wrong m, you can retrieve original session. Cheers!
@@_TheModernCreative yes, I converted from 88.2 to 44.1 and it worked but a message popped up saying that there were 3 Audio Files that could not be transferred. 🤔. So it work but not perfect. Over 100 Tracks w/ lots of Automation, Plug-In’s... you understand. I found out what my problem with this song. I’m using my iMAC’s internal Hard Drive, so I have Ext Drives ( not SSD ) but for Backing up Projects. So I open my Session with Ext Drv and able to finish the project in 88.2kHz. 🙏☺️Thank you for responding. George Amodei
I know this is going to help somebody so thank you for posting. Have an awesome day.
how do you retrive to old flextime info?
I believe you will have to re-flex as this is a new converted track with all new properties. That being said, look into Groove Templates and that should get you there. Blessings to you. support.apple.com/guide/logicpro/create-groove-templates-lgcp3fe6a76e/mac
Great video, I've been doing this for a while but now it doesn't work anymore, the tracks are at the new sample rate but they sound as if they weren't. Any clues as to why could that be?
Your interface is set to the correct sample rate? Do you have an external clock?
@@_TheModernCreative Yeah, my interface is optimized for 48khz, and I'm not syncing to an external clock. Any other reason why it could be failing? When I convert the file, it sounds exactly the same, and then I switch the project and it's all messed up.
@@Tjdes Did you recently change to optical cables or are you connecting via USB? This problem sounds odd for sure.
@@_TheModernCreative No, no changes whatsoever besides being on Sonoma now
The only other thing I can add is to bounce the file to Audio before conversion. I’ve seen that help at times.
Hey i've tried this and so many other methods and my computer keeps crashing every time ! Can't find where the problem is coming from, if anyone could help i'd be very grateful !
What interface do you use? I imagine it could be coming from there. Cheers!
Ohh you think ? It's a M-audio Fast Track Interface PN ML03-00454. Not the best. Is there anything else I can try ? I've been told to try Sounforge@@_TheModernCreative
thank you by the way ! i really appreciate the help !
also, this happens even when i'm not connected to my interface ! @@_TheModernCreative
Here’s a way to check if it is the interface. Disconnect the interface, and then try and change sample rates. If the crash does not happen, that means it is most likely the interface causing the issue. LMK what hapoens
you've got dither all wrong pal, that's for when you are converting from a higher bit depth to a smaller one, for example 24 bits to 16 bits
🙏🔥💯💪👍
I have only had this issue in logic lol
👍💪🔥🥷
You don't dither when changing a sample rate, only bit depth. Going from 44.1 to 48 has nothing to do with dither. Thank you for the video.
It’s when you go down from 24 to 16 bit right? Cheers. Many thanks.
@@_TheModernCreative yes, exactly!
This video earned you a subscriber 😅
Let’s Go🙏💪💯🔥
Bro but some audio files missing time and some files aren't playing they way it has to be
@@_TheModernCreative Bro but some audio files missing time and some files aren't playing they way it has to be
@@chitrapusunny try enabling Flex Time before you do the conversion. Hope that helps.
how to lower sample rate to 1000
I am not sure what you mean. Blessings to you. God is Gr8
Thanks sir! This totally saved me🙏🏾🙏🏾🥲
🙏💪👍💯🔥
Thank you!
Let’s go Jorge 🙏👍💯🔥💪
