It's amazing how that deep speaking voice turns into that high falsetto!
Excellent!! This was back in 1985 or 86 and Lou still has that falsetto in good shape and I think he and Frankie Valli should do a duo together.
I love "The Gypsy cried," it is my favorite of his!!!!
I'm glad Lou did not listen to some of the "Bigshot" Business people who told him to get rid of his Falsetto voice. Lou stuck with what he felt, and he trusted his own instincts. Good for you Lou, those wanna be bigshots lost out 🌟🎶🎵
This guy connects with the audience, in interviews too, as well as any musical performer ever. He just comes acrooss like he's at your level and not above you..In other words...He gets it.

just FABULOUS ,Lou Christie and Frankie Vallie are the greatest high pitch singers I've ever heard.They both do a FANTASTIC SHOW they are Legends .

In about 1989, I saw LC at a county fair near Dayton, Ohio. He was great.....and I couldn't believe how many of the people in the audience knew thw words to his songs!

I saw him years ago-I think 2001-and he was no spring chicken then, at the Sunrise Musical theater in Sunrise, Florida and was amazed at his performance-some much energy! Loved it.

Love Lou! Gotta agree, the move at 2:14 stopped my heart for a minute. The man is hot! I grew up in the 1960's but aside from Lightning Strikes, I didn't appreciate husband music that much, now I would live to see him in person but don't think he comes to the West Coast very often :(

Some of them ARE: "in love with"---"crazy about"---"amazed by"--- "COMPLETELY mad about"---and just plain "head-over-heels for". Does that give you an idea????And yes, he is AWESOME!! Hair looks stupid but lou’s voice never fails him.
He takes care of himself he's a professional and in my mind he's a freaking Superstar , !!! The GUYS had five or six huge hits.... and he's still doing tours in the 70s okay , from Pittsburgh PA, The Fabulous Lou Christie ! Also a terrific Showman.... rock on Lou !
jjs490 not really what defines a superstar, but unarguably one of the memorable singer/songwriters. I’ve been a fan since 5th grade (1962). I even saw him in Vegas back in either 77 or 78.
Rob Halford of Judas Priest has a four octave range and he has more fuller high notes than Lou Christie. I enjoy both singers, but anyone can claim to have an extensive range when it comes to singing. Other singers with an incredible range include Roy Orbison, Nilsson, Paul McCartney, Jim Gillette, Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones, John Fogerty, Elvis.....I could go on and on.....
Oh, that voice....SIGH.....(not to mention the face and bod.....)
I doubt five octaves....maybe 2 or 3.
Not sure that 300 pounds and bald would be a worse look...
