At least it's a single player controller deck! And as prices for 3/4 scale cabs get nearer $1,000 the appeal of these grows.... I want one for the living room; something I can play while the fam's watching the tube. Great video as always
Thanks David I really appreciate that! Always great to hear from you man. I’m really liking the new countercades with the additional games and game settings options. 👍
Very nice! I have a Super Pac-Man, Galaga 88’ and Ms Pac-Man 40th anniversary Countercade, all great hits, but like you said the Monitors are only thing that irks me a little bit. But they’re beautiful to have including this one! This game Pac-Man I have on my Super Pac-Man cab.
Nice, that’s great to know. I haven’t spent much time with that game yet but I’m excited to learn more about it. Thanks for the heads up I really appreciate that! 👍
@@danebeavin4294 that Frogger looks great. If I didn’t already have the bigger Frogger cab I would have quickly pulled the trigger on that one. Love how it has both Time Pilot and Time Pilot 84. 👍
@@3rdFloorArcade I just got the frogger cab in. It's a good system and gives you several different options in the settings. They still didn't get the frogger music license but it's all good. Saves me a lot of space. I don't think I'll get another countercade though. The screens are just too small.
@@danebeavin4294 that’s great to know about the new Frogger countercade and the music they used on there, thanks for sharing! I like how they have both Time Pilots on there 👍
Great pickup, brethren. Love the look of this. I'd love it but the partycade is the only one available in the uk. I ordered the new 1up galaga partycade from uk QVC on Saturday. I'm hoping it will be here tomorrow. With it just being me and wifey now, we downsized a few years back and had no room for arcades. Bit I've found a loophole with these partycades lol. I can have some dotted around the apartment. I wish 1up would show some love to Phoenix. Me and the misses would undoubtedly make room for a Phoenix cab. 🙏🏻👊
Thanks so much brother! Those new partycades look great. Do you know if they come with a light up marquee? I really like the Galaga version you ordered and also that Defender. I’m thinking hard about making that Defender my first partycade. I’m glad to hear the new partycades are available in the UK!
@@3rdFloorArcade yeah, pretty sure these new 10 In 1 come with a light up marquee. Unfortunately the defender partycade isn't available here. It's just the galaga and the pacman versions. 👍
Great review! I purchased this hoping it would have a light-up marquee or at least the new screen. Mine hasn't arrived yet. I'll probably just sell mine on eBay when it arrives.
Thanks so much for checking out the review, I really appreciate that. Yeah it’s a bummer no light up marquee and older monitor but everything else is great on there. Good value at that price point I think.
@@3rdFloorArcade True, but I already have the Frogger, Galaga and Ms Pac-Man countercades from last year plus the Super Pac-Man one from this year that does have the light-up marquee.

Thanks for checking out the video Mathew, really appreciate that man. So this one does have an 8-way stick on here but I haven’t noticed any problems with the controls. All the turns on these games I can make pretty tight as if it was a 4-way.
Hey Jason I currently am selling my gen 1 street fighter (already have the bar one with leg extensions) and have a Star Wars arcade1up, what should I buy next from arcade1up even if it’s a countercade?
Hey Zane thanks for checking the review out I really appreciate that! Two of the newer countercades I highly recommend are both the Galaga 88 5-game countercade (available at QVC for $130) and also the Ms Pac Man countercade (available for $150 at GameStop and comes with a light up marquee). If you’re into fighting games with WiFi, I really love the Marvel Vs Capcom cabinet (avail at Best Buy for $550). All great options. Also I recommend the IiRcade if you’re into the multicades. 👍

Big thumbs up 👍 We do have this unused built in bench area (under windows) in my arcade and I could line a bunch up on it!! The price is right on these things...that's for sure.
Thanks EmeryArcade, really appreciate that brother! Right now I kind of have them scattered throughout the house lol. But I’m planning on building a bar down in my basement and will keep them all lined up down there eventually. That Frogger machine sounds perfect for your camper brother! And I agree the price is right on the new countercades 👍
Great review! My biggest problem with these old screen countercades and their no light up marquee is that, apparently, when you buy one they turn around and come out with a much better partycade. Like Galaga '88. After about a week, they came out with a Galaga partycade on the QVC website with so much more to offer for only a little more on the price. As disappointing as that was, I went ahead and bought the Galaga partycade, too (also got Defender). They also have Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. I'm curious, will you be picking any of those up? They seem like a really great deal, especially with the black Friday deal and it's such a great value, imo.

I hope Arcade1up continues to go in _that_ direction and get away from those old, fading screens. The light up marquee is a plus for me, but not a deal breaker. I'm hoping the control deck isn't too much of an issue with the partycades (Galaga and Defender will be my first partycades).
@@3rdFloorArcade That's a good question. I like the versatility of those things. Right now, I'm thinking on the door because it won't hurt the wall that way.
