Lifelong Built to Spill fan can't wait for the new record and although I've heard it before loved Unoriginal Artists. Awesome seeing these interviews as I've only met the guy a couple times after shows.
I've never heard someone admit to writing lyrics and music like I do - play some music, I like it, it goes in a song. Write words that I feel flow, throw it in. It's another instrument.
I wondered about that too. Maybe it's "When I'm Blind" but could be any other song too. I also thought of the unreleased song called "Understood". Who knows

I’ve heard this before. “The lyrics are nonsense…random.” Always found that very difficult to believe.
very. you can tell when it's random, a lot of the earlier stuff is certainely about something specific.
I enjoy Dino Jr equally and don't really care about the lyrics.. music, melody, the beat.. all matter more than the lyrics
