❤ I love your needle book, it Is so detailed. All the personal pieces you used, a precious work of art.😊 Maybe I will try to create one for myself over the December holidays.❤
Thank you for sharing your beautiful needle book with us. I love that you've got bits and bobs from your mother and grandmother. It makes it even more precious.
Your video was so delightful! I've been along some of the same path as you recently: just decided I needed a needle book only there are so many embellishments that I want to do that I decided to also make a "fun stitch" book. I also plan on using old scarves that I don't wear. The colors you used on one page reminded me of vintage needle packets - the lime green plus black with the zig-zag cut sides. I also recently went through mom's and grandma's old sewing boxes searching for fun things for either book I plan to make (and found some). Who doesn't have old Battenburg lace lying around? I also just picked up tatting and realized last night that it takes me 3 hours to make an inch of "lace". Obviously I'm barely a beginner at that. Good luck with the tatting - there are a lot of very good videos to learn from. I couldn't help but comment on your video with all of the synchronicities. Thank you so much! P.S Yours was the type of video I've been looking for where someone just shares what they have made, not how it was made. Perfect.
Oh, thank you for these words. Yeah I didn't want to turn it into a teaching but a way of sharing ideas. I plan on showing my quilt off soon. I'm not done, the crazy quilt is a very exotic type of quilt and is a long process but what a joy it has been for me. All those treasures you have will be a blessing to you I'm sure. One of the video people I follow had her followers send in a small video of what they've made. Someday Yahuah willing I'd like to do that because of the great feedback I have received from people like you being inspired. Thank you and enjoy the walk and process. Take your time, feel up your heart with the peace of making it. Thank you!
Never knew of needle book before either… there used to be a store in my hometown “Selig Sisters sewing notions” they had everything! Kick myself for not learning everything from them, they were really old and think that one passed, and the remaining sister was forced to retire. 😢
Beautiful needle book❤ I’m a new subbie. Just an idea to save your crochet hooks falling out maybe add a fabric flip over the top end so you don’t have to worry about loosing any or keep on putting them back 🤗
Yes, I just made my 2nd one for a friend. It is not easy and I'm thinking of better ways to join pages. But it is rewarding when done. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Ive made junk journals. This looks very similar, only prettier! You could make one for knitting and crocheting. But, these are very good for the smaller needles. You made this one so multi functional, beautiful!
I’ve never made one of these but have always wanted to. Yours is is very pretty. I’m getting ready start a needle book today. I’m just looking for ideas and techniques. Have a wonderful day! 😊 **Edited for spelling
Love your book, I had a metal tatting shuttle i got at auction. I dont have it know, but they do make the plastic ones which i have. But try those for tatting also easy to use.
You did a beautiful job! You have personalized it to your needs and that's what a needle book is for. It's a lovely example of the work you create ❤

What a beautiful needle book. I love how you included your family items that you inherited.
Thank you so much!

That is an excellent idea. So, far it's working okay but I will think on this tip, thanks.
I couldn’t find a link to this other woman’s channel on embroidery stitches. I really loved your needle book ❤️🥰
Here is the link www.youtube.com/@SarahHomfrayEmbroidery She is a professional with training. She's one of the best I've seen yet.
You are as beautiful as the books that you create
How sweet thank you for your kind words.
You did fantastic! This turned out gorgeous! I’m now on my journey of needle books. I’ve made 2 so far. Very very time consuming, but I love it!

You can do it! I'm happy you are inspired.
On the page holding your crochet hooks, hand tack/glue a flap at top of page. Lay it over hooks before closing needle book. Great job.

Love it! New subbi
I have always wanted to learn tatting , can't wait!💕
