- Abiodun Fatoke was among the longest serving members of the African Beats, sacked by King Sunny Ade in 2007.
He tells his story.
Watch out for Part 2.
Welldone my brother Agbaletu. Can you please research on Funmilayo Ranko and do a documentary about her. Funmilayo Ranko used to be a stage theatre actor in the 70's.She is a lady but she behaves like men and act like men. Every thing about her is feminine.
I love this baba so much. I always look out for him on their stage video performance. He is always happy playing the instrument. I am so happy to see this interview.
How did you know most of the history of musians that you have been metioning their names and their years of play given your age. I also watched your interview with Chief Commander Obey. I could see that you were helping him to remember some artists although Obey did not lose his memory. I want to commend you for a job weldone.Keep it up. I will continue to listen to your interview.
How did he know? Research
That's what is called "research".
What a question
We've waited for the continuation of this interview since 01 September 2023 - a long time ago. We are now in January 2024. When is it going to come???
Well done Mr Dele Agbaletu....I appreciate your intellectual work sir ...more grace sir
When you fight life, always remember that , life will fight you back someday. No leader would open his eyes and allow his career to crash, in the name of what ? do good, and it will follow you. KSA is not the only musician in Nigeria that his band boys left, i still dont know why all these digging of past issues that could easily generate unnecessary controversy among fans
Mr Adeyanju, I would like to express my appreciation for the exceptional content and insightful interviews that your show consistently delivers, shedding light on various aspects of the entertainment industry. I believe your platform plays a significant role in celebrating our unsung heros.
I am reaching out today to bring to your attention an extraordinary individual who has made significant contributions to the Nigerian music industry. This individual, despite his immense talent and accomplishments, remains relatively unknown to the general public.
Eng Emmanuel Odenusi is a true unsung hero, who played a significant role as sound engineer for some of our legendary musicians like Fela, kind Sunny Ade and Ayinla Omowura to mention a few.
However, his story and journey have not received the recognition he rightfully deserve. Fortunately your are the only thread that is knitting the past with the present.
By featuring him on your show, we will ones again have a front row seat hence, opportunity to have insights to his contribution to Nigerian music industry.
Engineer Odenusi is in his 80s
Thank you so very much sir. I so appreciate your message and also, thank you for appreciating the very little I could do as the means I have has permitted me so far.
I'm hopeful of an improvement with time.
I'll make a chat with Pa Odenusi an assignment immediately.
I won't mind if you have any lead to him, perhaps a phone number or something.
My WhatsApp and phone number is 08027888329 or 08033852815.
I appreciate you so sincerely sir.

You people go around digging out controversy. Whats the purpose of it?
To generate views and make money from UA-cam. Money, money, money....
Controversy is what you see. Entertainment, research and information is what we see.
@@deleadeyanju even if some of the interviews are controversial, you have justified every view you get by your hard work and thorough research. Through your interviews, I have learned a lot about the history of Nigerian music and musicians, and I have heard scoops about them I would never have known. You clearly put a lot of passion and effort into your work, and I give you kudos for that. You also have a good memory and great interview skills. If you make all the money you deserve it. Keep it up brother!
No slander would be tolerated against Dele Adeyanju. He is doing us a great service, filling up important gaps in the history of Nigerian music.
I pray that one day he would have enough resources to produce full documentary series for Netflix on the History Of Yoruba Music.
Dele is doing a lots of great work, some might be controversial, as an instrumentalist myself, I'm learning a lot from these interviews.
Sunny Agaga is from Akure
