I was surprised to see the hulla around pricing specially when single pops have been over $30 for quite some time now so thanks for giving us the extra industry info on the pricing
Really appreciate you taking the time to review, swatch, and compare. Your perspective as an industry insider gives valuable insight re pricing, especially given that they're made in Italy.
Ugh Still at the club is so beautiful! Looks like the most perfect one and done shadow! Loved seeing the swatches as you explained! They’re so sparkly!
I think the resistance is because of the fact that its expensive than his blush duos. I, personally, have never seen an eyeshadow compact being expensive than same brands’s blush compact. But what do I know!!
Can’t believe I started watching you like 12 years ago on an older account, somehow lost access to that UA-cam account, and found you again today! I’m so glad you’re still making videos Eshani! I bought SO much lush and OPI stuff based on your recommendations omg! 💖💖💖
I recommend Kbeauty and Cbeauty brands for very similar single shadows. Joocyee & JudiDoll are just two that come to mind. They have singles like this and you can get them under $20.
Eshani, I appreciate you taking the time to make this detailed and super helpful vid! I’m so curious and want to try 1 or 2 of these and really couldn’t figure out how to decide! Thank you, thank you! (except now I want them all, sigh)
If these were singles, in the gorgeous packaging, priced at 25 $, I’d buy one. Which would make two singles cost fifty bucks. So why I’m resistant to the 42 $ price tag, I can’t say. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to myself, when I look at it that way. They’re also a shiny, pretty object, in of themselves. Can’t justify it, not right now, but if I could then, yeah, that dark taupe duo would be mine, all mine.
I missed your reviews so much. You always bring a layer of sanity to things. I think a lot of the marketing buzz was hard to interpret like what “pearl” even meant. But realistically there’s only so much glitter you can get without getting into real shards of plasticky glitter. I can’t help but want more than 1 though these are sold out
I just hope they don't disappear, because so far what I am getting from reviews is these are like Pat Mc Grath special shades duos. And mama that's a full on yes for me Considering she hasnt released them since forever now, and some of these tones are not in her range
This is the video cause all other opinions reviews videos leave out one or other factors and this just is so educational and informative on the shadows it helps you see which you actually will use or is more worth the purchase thank you so much I love how your music be thinks cause that’s how mine works I need info and actual comparisons of other things you always give the best videos love it now I’m gonna go buy these lol
I've been waiting to see more in depth swatches on a skin tone so thank you! Plus the comparisons to diamond bomb etc. really answered my burning questions 🙏
Very fair review. It’s a special shadow from a luxury type brand! And it’s a special holiday release. It’s expensive, but worth it for what you’re getting. Think about those new Too Faced shadows! They are $30 for ONE and it’s not even THAT special. And it’s just Too Faced lol
Kiki Chanel has a great video about the quality of Patrick Ta's makeup and his lack of transparency. Its not just the eyeshadows that have allegedly picked up mold but also their blushes. If you're going to act luxury than you better put your money where your mouth is and I'm just not going to support them even though I can afford it.
I feel the same way about pricing in the beginning when people were slashing his pricing. I'm glad you spoke out for him. He probably felt defeated knowing how people criticized him. Meanwhile, he priced it in a way that is still within the market price and still tries to make some profits
While I am interested in these, especially the one with the sparkly white/silver shade. I already have 4 Pat McGrath mothership palettes and a few indie single shadows, and while I didn't personally balk at the price as it made since to me for them to be priced as such. I do understand peoples hesitation. Ultimately, because I don't care for the gold that comes along in the duo that I am most interested in, and at $42 dollars, for me to only use one shade would be a waste.
The market price is crazy but I am getting one or twi yes 🤣 Love your video very informative I have all the eyeshadows you tested but yes the patric tah is most sparkly. I have payd for single shadows from charlotte tilbury that wasn't baked and they get hard pan they are worthless in my opinion charlotte tilbury is overrated
As someone who only buys indie eyeshadow, this is why I can't justify the price with what I already have.
Indie shades are miles ahead of any mainstream brand when it comes to eyeshadow.

Aaahhh my OG totalmakeupjunkie101. I trist your reviews FOR YEARS!!!

he literally made a palette with 4 blushes and 4 of these shadows for $65 as well, that's why this feels like such a ripoff

Thank you for your insight. They are gorgeous. Everything you said made absolute sense especially when you did the comparisons with other shadows.
Meh. Overpriced glitter that doesn't make the grade visually. They look dry and thin to me and the colors aren't practical. Next. 😅

Such a great review. I’m buying still at the club. I love special formulas. And I love the packaging.
oh hi! your space looks so serene

I’m afraid these might grow mold because his eyeshadows have the reputation of doing that.
Oh gosh, I hope not 🤞🏽

Not worth it to me .
I splurged and got 4 of them; the Sephora sale got me 😆 I really appreciated your review!!
Me too 😂
Yay!! Enjoy!
It’s always a good day when an Eshani video gets uploaded! ❤❤❤ty for reviewing these candidly!
try clionadh shimmers and or colour pop's shock eye shadows, some are way better than PT

He made a palette last year with 4 of these shadows + 4 blushes for $65. That's why this feels like such a ripoff. Nobody seems to mention that...
yet again another US girl youtuber yelling at us

In Canada, $57 🙈 Great review
