Hi Victor, please I have a question. Is it ok to build a 4 bedroom bungalow with 10mm rods? Land is level and dry, foundation is chained, lintel also chained all around. Pillar/ columns well casted but all with 10mm. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you
@@johnmonday1218 first whats the rationale behind using a 10MM rod knowing fully well that your house might carry loads such as parapet and your roof as well. I hope you also factored in the fact that there are different types of rods in the market right now, if you got the right rods then its fine, but pls when investing on a building project its important you kill any form of compromise because the consequences are beyond emergency repairs.
Building a house without a lintel is a big mistake, every house need a lintel weather is a bungalow or duplex

Also it's going to be a hidden roof, so no parapet loads

Dis dpc is too low
The height of your DPC is a factor of the nature of the land where the building is been sighted. I know your engineer will understand better
